It was RCB vs KXIP match. RCB had won the match and Virat hit a century with stiches in his hand. As the match was over all adrenaline rush was over and now it started paining to him.
Soon the presentation ceremony was done and he was going back to his room. To his surprise and shock it was open. When he opened he saw Mahi and Rohit there sitting on his bed watching presentation ceremony.
"What are u doing here Ro and Bhai ? Your match is they after tomorrow right ?" Asked Virat curiously
They didn't say anything but made him sit on bed and called physio was his check up. Physio did the check up and prescribed the pain killers.
"Why are u not talking to me ?" Said Virat sensing their silence
They still gave him the silent treatment. Mahi was arranging the dinner for him and Rohit went to speak on the call.
"Bhai !!!" Said Virat loudly to get his attention
"Go and get fresh Virat .. now!" Ordered Mahi
"He is not talking to me ! Not even once said that how was my batting and now he is scolding me" Virat pouted and mumbled under his breath and went to freshen up.
Mahi heard that and chuckled. Rohit came back and asked - "Where is that idiot bhai?"
"He went to freshen up" said Mahi
Virat came outside and saw that Mahi and Rohit are talking to each other.
"Okay now they can talk to each other. They have came here and not talking to me" mumbled Virat
"Stop mumbling to yourself and have ur dinner" ordered Rohit
"Why are u also ordering me ?" Asked Virat irritated
"What do u mean to say Virat ?" Asked Mahi
"Nothing bhai" said Virat and sat on the bed.
"Have your dinner because u have to take medicines" said Mahi
"I am not gonna have it .. you both came here to give me silent treatment and orders ? You are not talking to me so I am not going to have dinner" said Virat whining
"Stop whining u idiot" said Rohit
"I am not talking to u" said Virat back
"Virat don't argue and eat ur food" said Mahi
"First u talk to me and second u feed me as my hand is injured" said Virat
"Glad u remember that ur hand is injured because we thought that u are perfectly fine" said Rohit sarcastically
"Seriously Cheeku is why did u take so much risk and went to bat. It could have been worse u know. Do u know we were so scared that we came here immediately? Why are u so stubborn Cheeku ? You should take care of yourself" scolded Mahi
"But bhai" interrupted Virat
"There is absolutely no reason to justify ur stupid action. If we are not here then u will do whatever u want ha ? Where is ur that teammate ur friend .. didn't he tell not to go ... what kind of friend he is" said Rohit
"Why are you dragging AB into this?" said Virat back
Just then to Rohit's annoyance AB arrived in the room without knocking which irked him more. Rohit already mumbled some curses under his breathe which were heard by Virat and Mahi both.
"Are u okay Biscuit ?" asked AB worriedly. "Ohh hey MS and Rohit" said AB noticing them in the room.
Before Virat could answer Rohit asked AB in a very professional tone - "Why didn't you stop him from playing ?"
"Do you think he is gonna listen to anyone ? I tried so many times to stop him but he is very stubborn I tell you" said AB stating the facts.
"Ofcourse I know he is very stubborn" said Rohit knowingly
"Can u both not talk like that I am not here" said Virat irritated now
"Let it be. U take care of urself .. will see u soon" said Ab to Virat and left the room to give privacy to them .
"U get so jealous of him and now u are teaming with Him against me .. How could u ?" Said Virat taunting Rohit
"I am not teaming with him .. I am just agreeing on what he said" said Rohit
"U both stop .. and Cheeku do not change the topic .. why did u take such risk ? Kuch ho jaata toh" said Mahi softly
"Bhai nothing happened u are worrying unnecessarily" said Virat
"But why did u play like that" asked Rohit irritated with his stubbornness
"I just wanted the team to win Ro for once we are close u know" said Virat in a low voice
Rohit and Mahi both of them understood his feelings.
"But Vi if next time this happens please don't be stubborn about it okay" said Rohit sternly
"Yes Cheeku .. we were so worried ! We could literally see ur hand paining while batting" said Mahi
Softly
"Yes bhai , Ro I will take care next time." Said Virat
"Even if this happens next time then also u both will be there na to take care of me so no tension" he added cheekily
"Cheeku !" Said Mahi in a stern tone
"Bhai enough of that atleast feed me food na I am so hungry" said Virat like a child
Mahi sat beside him and started feeding him the food.
"But Vi one thing ! What a knock it was ! Left me speechless !" Said Rohit genuinely appreciating his skills
"Yes Cheeku we are really very proud of you .. u know Ro was screaming so much that my eardrums were about to blast" said Mahi lovingly and teasing Rohit
"Kya bhai" whined Rohit
"Thank you so much ... I love u both" saying this Virat hugged both of them. "We love u too" they replied back
After sometime Virat slept under the effect of medicines on Mahi's lap.Mahi was caressing his hair while Rohit was looking at his hand and thinking something.
"Bhai when will he start taking care of himself" said Rohit worriedly running his fingers softly on his hand.
"Rohit we have got this careless little brother to take care of for the lifetime .. just be prepared every time" said Mahi lovingly and Rohit just chuckled listening to that and agreed to him.
