Little Prince Anders seems like talking about a great vacation but in reality, only members of the imperial family and high-ranking officials knew what is this place and what are the things waiting for abandoned, unfavored, or misbehaving members of the imperial family when they are sent there...

If this is Beatrix who became the empress and had the experience of several lifetimes, she will immediately understand and figure out that something is wrong when he told her that the emperor send his first son to the Imperial Retreat Mansion! The experienced and mature Beatrix knew that lots of adult members of the imperial family were not able to survive in that place because that is a cruel dungeon intended for imperial family members!

Too bad, the Beatrix in front of little Prince Anders is the innocent little Beatrix who is yet to know about the cruel and heartless things the imperial family is capable of doing just to prove their power and authority to everyone! She did not know that she harmed him more when she helped him!

"I am glad that he seems to be having the time of his life!" She smiled happily for Prince Andrew, believing all the great and exciting things uttered by little Prince Anders about that place.

"True! I could not agree more!" He smiled and urged Beatrix to attend their lesson for that day.

After one month, little Prince Andrew went back to the imperial palace. Lots of imperial physicians checked his condition! It is said that he experienced a serious accident so he could not stand up, sit up straight, or eat and drink properly so making him drink his medicine is a big challenge because usually, he will not do it! He is also silent the whole time when the physicians are asking. He only answers using one or two words in front of the Emperor and Empress. His time was usually spent resting and sleeping.

Little Beatrix heard about it from her maids. She suddenly had the urge to visit him so she asked for the Emperor and Empress' permission to see him and they immediately agreed. She went inside his bedroom and saw his very pale and sickly sleeping form.

"Andrew..." She uttered his name when she realized that he looks so thin, pale, weak, and dying! His eyes slowly opened when he felt the presence beside him.

"Andrew, you are awake!" She happily exclaimed. "Are you okay?"

He just nodded as he stared at her.

"Do you want to eat?" She immediately asked as she noticed that his food remained untouched.

He shook his head. The truth is he did not feel hungry because he feels excruciating pain all over his body so he learned to forget being hungry! How can anyone think about being hungry when a simple movement feels like hell?! His whole body, except his face, neck, hands, and feet, is covered mostly with bruises and some cuts... He does not want to sit down and place strong pressure on his badly beaten butt just to eat or drink!

Little Beatrix pouted and looked very disappointed so he was forced to agree when he saw her expression... He gritted his teeth and forced himself not to scream from pain when she pressed his back and chest which are filled with fresh whip wounds while she is helping him to sit on his bed so he could eat the food and drink water.

When she saw him not lifting anything to eat, she voluntarily did it for him. She feeds him while narrating some of the events that happened in the palace while he is away. She also made him drink his medicine. Next, she asked him what happened to his vacation but he just told her that it is fine and would not elaborate more. He suddenly became very silent... Her young heart ached as she stared at his silent and pitiful form.

It is truly a pity that he encountered an accident on his vacation which is probably the reason he is sulking...

She did not ask him anymore and continued nursing him back to health in her simple way. She threatened him that if he will not eat his food, drink water or his medicine, and rest properly, she will no longer visit him! His cold eyes, poker face, and domineering presence could not scare her as she insisted that he follows all the physicians' advice!

Little Prince Anders visited his imperial brother alone, very early in the morning.

"Imperial Brother, are you feeling well?" Little Prince Anders gently asked with a matching gentle smile.

"Sorry to disappoint you, Imperial Brother, I cannot die yet." Little Prince Andrew coldly replied to his two-faced brother. His imperial brother could fool everyone with his kind appearance, gentle gestures, and sweet words but not him!

"Oh, I am so glad! As expected of Imperial Brother!" He enthusiastically replied and pressed his brother's shoulder in what looked like a brotherly grip but when he let go, that part begins to bleed profusely once again. He knows his brother's shoulder is severely and deeply wounded! It will not heal easily so he chose to press and reopen the wound again.
