Three years later, the nine-year-old Prince Andrew and Prince Anders together with the eight-year-old Beatrix were asked to submit a personally made handicraft that symbolizes the power of the Sky Imperial Family. The handicraft must show the rich culture and traditions passed down from generation to generation.

Prince Anders easily made a detailed and exquisite handicraft! Next, he crafted two colorful kites that are more attractive than the handicraft he just made. He slyly convinced Beatrix that they should fly the kites together outside. Beatrix was very excited until she remembered that she had not yet finished her handicraft so she sadly and reluctantly refused.

"Okay. I will wait on the furthest side of the garden. I will fly my kite first so I can teach you how to fly yours when you arrived..." He gently gave her a seductive hint.

Prince Anders did not offer to help her do her handicraft because he wants someone to foolishly do her handicraft instead then that is the time he will reap the benefits later! He smiled naughtily while walking towards their meeting point as he already guessed what will happen next.

Beatrix tried to do her handicraft but she cannot do it perfectly! She remembered Prince Anders' handicraft and immediately felt ashamed of her several failed attempts! She could not help but think about flying kites. It seems more fun than doing this boring, tiring, and useless handicraft! She felt so sad and about to cry helplessly as her next attempts are still disappointing!

Prince Andrew is aware that his Imperial Brother laid another trap for him. He does not want to jump into the trap but seeing her troubled state makes his heart feel so sad.

She is very gloomy when Prince Andrew approached her and closely checked her crafts or more like several bunches of trash! Her face reddened as he coldly and silently checked her handicrafts... Although his face seems neutral, her instinct is telling her that he is probably criticizing severely deep inside his mind! He immediately put her trash... I mean her crafts down and offered his help.

"Your handicrafts seem... extraordinary! Too bad, few people could appreciate an entirely different... masterpiece!" He carefully sugarcoated his statement, careful not to offend and hurt her feelings. Next, he offered his help. "If you like, I can do the handicraft for you but you need to reward me for my effort!"

If Beatrix is not already used to his domineering presence and way of speaking, she will think he is threatening and extorting her instead of trying to help her!

"What do you want?" She suspiciously asked because she knew that most things in the world are not free and not easily taken without a great price in exchange.

"Not much!" He replied then continued. "Are you going to accept or not?"

"Your reward will not be impossible, too expensive, or too humiliating to do?" She eyed him suspiciously.

"Of course!" He seriously assured her and asked again. "So, do you accept or not?"

Beatrix was a little afraid that this is just a prank but when she remember the kite... She was immediately tempted to sell her soul to the little devil!

"Yes!" She excitedly agreed.

"Okay. Just get the handicraft tomorrow in my courtyard." He said and asked his servants to get all the materials needed.

"Wait! If you give me a more ugly output..." She warned him not to scam her or else she will also break their agreement.

"Do you think I will present a failure?" He proudly asked and seriously faced her.

And as easy as that, Prince Andrew tediously made a unique and exquisite handicraft for her while she happily played with Prince Anders in the garden.

Another three years passed by and the eleven-year-old Beatrix was still not able to return the favor to the twelve-year-old Prince Andrew because he told her he does not know what he wants!

Prince Andrew and Beatrix are playing chess when Prince Anders arrived and whispered something to Beatrix. She happily stood up and was about to depart when Prince Andrew stopped her.

"Our game is not yet over." He reminded her.

Beatrix immediately realized her mistake! It was very rude of her to abandon their game after she promised to play five matches with him and this game is just the first match!

But it is more fun to sail several paper boats in the lake today...

She pouted as she imagined it. Soon, she made another suggestion.

"Andrew, please do not be mad... I know I promised to play chess today but can we do it on another day? Let me owe you another favor... Please, I will just make it up to you!" She seriously begged him to allow her to go with Prince Anders.

"You were not able to return the favor yet and now you want to owe another one?" Prince Andrew looks cold and indifferent but he secretly clenched his hands below the table as he could see the mirth in his imperial brother's eyes.
