"Devi Janki had finally got it all." Sehdev said.
"Indeed. But there was still a worry in her mind." Krishna said.
"Worry ? What now ? She was married to Shri Ram." Bheem said.
"Yes she was and that was the cause of her worry. That although she was married she didn't know the significance of a wife in one's life." Krishna said.
------
The moonlight and lamps were illuminating the room of Shri Ram as Janki waited for him while looking at the moon tensed.
Her fingers tapped the railing of the balcony nervously, she wasn't aware of the duties of wife and what significance it holds in family and husband's life.
The people from her age were just keen on victimising the wives and making them seem weak and dependant on the man. But Janki knew it wasn't like that, because a wife is a better half of the husband, a wife is not weak but the source of husband's strength.
But how will she be the source of Shri Ram's strength ? When he is the lord of all and Janki doesn't even know who or what she is ? These questions plagued her mind.
'Maybe Shashi bhaiya can help ? But what will he do ? Maybe his Nakshatra wives can help ?' Janki thought.
"Sitey ?" A melodious voice brought her from worries.
A smile appeared on her face hearing that name 'Sitey' from Shri Ram's mouth itself. Janki turned around and saw him coming towards her.
Janki walked towards him and touched his feet, fulfilling the desire of her heart as a smile of bliss appeared on her face.
"What are you doing Sitey ?" Shri Ram asked.
"Fulfilling the desire that was in my heart since I saw you. Worshipping the lotus feet of my god." Janki said.
"Sitey, I am your husband. Both of us are each other's gods and both of us are the worshippers of each other as well. There must be equality between husband and wife." Shri Ram said.
Janki looked up at him, gazing into his lotus eyes. She was quick to realise that her doubts were to be cleared by him and it would be the best if it happens this way.
Shri Ram kept a hand behind her shoulders and made her walk with him to the swing. He sat down and gestured her to sit beside, Janki smiled taking the seat beside him.
"Both of us are same but we have our own qualities that compliment each other thus both of us are incomplete without each other. In the temple called home, the husband and wife are the two pillars. And both pillars are important, if one pillar is not there then there will be no temple." Shri Ram said.
Janki nodded as they both lightly swinged together.
"If there is a difference due to inequality between husband and wife, then how will they both belong to eachother ? We need to be friends. Husband is wife's sakha and wife is husband's sakhi." Shri Ram said.
Janki smiled hearing his words carefully as her doubts got clear.
"We have to accompany each other all our lives. All the time in all situations. With 'man', 'vachan' and 'karm' I have accepted you as my wife. And I expect you will be with me in every good deed. Will you support me ?" Shri Ram asked.
"Yes." Janki nodded.
"And what about bad deeds ?" Shri Ram asked. Janki frowned and he chuckled.
"I will never perform any bad deed intentionally. But to make mistake is the human nature. A human can go astray. If you see this happening with me, then it is your duty to show me the right path." Shri Ram said.
"But Raghunath, how can I show you the right path ? Won't it be ironical ?" Janki asked.
"Sitey, I told you that husband is the friend of wife. So isn't it the duty of a true friend to stop the other friend from going astray ?" Shri Ram asked.
"It is." Janki nodded.
"Then in the same way, you need to alert me all my life." Shri Ram said.
------
"Ah yes. We have all seen what happens when a 'true' friend doesn't guide the friend who is astrayed." Bheem said.
"Oh, the kurukshetra war wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for their destructive friendship." Nakul sighed.
