"And finally the time came when Devi Janki and Shri Ram would be tied together in the bounds of marriage." Krishna said.

"How ironical, that the ones who are free from and above all ties are willingly getting tied together." Yudhishthir said.

"That's the beauty of Bhagwaan's avatar Jyesht." Krishna smiled.

------

Maharaj Dashrath came along with his sons to the great hall where the marriage would take place. The face of the 4 princes were hidden behind Sehra of pearls tied to their mukut.

Janak welcomed Maharaj Dashrath and his soon to be son-in-laws, and takes them inside the highly decorated hall where the musicians were singing songs and also 4 mandap was set up for the marriage ceremony.

Dashrath, Guru Vasisht and Guru Vishwamitra sat on the high thrones made for them. While Janak and Sunaina washed the feet of the grooms one by one.

Soon Shankhnaads were blown indicating the arrival of the brides. At front walked Janki, whose unmatched beauty and grace will defeat a 100 Rati.

Behind her was Mandavi, sweet and lovely, looking as radiant as the moon. Behind Mandavi was Urmila, as brilliant as the sun. At last was Shrutkirti looking as beautiful as the lotus flower.

Vashisht and Vishwamitra smiled as Janki walked ahead. The great goddess is coming to get united with the swami of three worlds. And behind her the 3 beloved sisters walked in her footsteps.

They could see that the flowers laying on the ground started blossoming again as they touched the lotus feet of Devi Mahalakshmi.

The 4 brides came and sat on the right side of their grooms, their positions will soon change once they become Vamangi after the ceremony.

Janki looked at Shri Ram and he looked at her from behind his Sehra.

Together they both exceeded the splendor of a thousand Kaamdev and Rati. After all Sita and Ram were not two but one, just synonyms of each other, pre-written chapters of love.

Gods and humans alike are spellbounded by this divine couple as they stand up for Varmala. Janki takes a flower garland and puts it around Shri Ram's neck.

Similarly Mandavi garlanded Bharat, Urmila garlanded Laxman and Shrutkirti garlanded Shatrughan. The songs of auspiciousness were sang by the musicians.

Janki and Shri Ram look at each other, both feeling eternally blissful after holding each other's soft lotus like hands. Janki smiles feeling that her life was complete now, all she had ever wanted was in her hands.

Similarly Janak gains merit by doing Kanyadaan of Mandavi, Urmila and Shrutkirti. Malvika comes forwards and then does the gathbandhan of all 4 couples.

Now everyone stands up for the feras. The priests chant mantras as Narayan walks alongside his Lakshmi, the heir of Ayodhya walks alongside the pride of Mithila.

The beautiful princesses Mandavi, Urmila and Shrutkirti also walk alongside their charming princes Bharat, Laxman and Shatrughan respectively.

Janak is extremely fortunate to have gotten such glorious Jamai without asking. Dashrath's joy knew no bounds seeing the wedding of his sons. Guru Vasisht and Guru Vishwamitra were also elated witnessing the ceremony.

The three worlds watched in awe as Janki comes and stands on the left side of Shri Ram. Her sisters too now attained the position of Vamangi of their husbands after the feras. All the couples sit down, as sindoor is placed in front of them.

Shri Ram takes a pinch of sindoor and fills the parting of Janki's hair with it.

A little falls on her forehead and nose, Janki looked at Shri Ram who smiling at her
