This chapter's song is How To Be A Heartbreaker by Marina and the Diamonds(: I'm obsessed with her at the moment!
*Camille's POV*
Louis and Harry cleared off the table while the rest of us sat and made small talk. I pulled my phone out from my purse and checked the time. My eyes widened a bit and I quickly shoved it back into it's original place.
"Well, this has been great and all, but I think I need to get going. It's really late and I have class in the afternoon tomorrow, but I'll see you all another time." I smiled at Zayn. "See you Wednesday." He nodded and stood up from the table to walk me to the door. I waved goodbye to Liam and Niall on my way out of the room and they thanked me for coming by.
"See you, Louis," I said when we walked through the kitchen. Him and Harry were on opposite sides of the room, completing different tasks and talking amongst themselves.
"See you," he replied with a nice wave of his hand. "Thanks for the food too." He chuckled. "It's good to know you're not intimidated by how bizarre we are."
I giggled. "It's okay. I fit in just fine to that title." I looked to my right at Harry. "It was good meeting you, Harry."
"You too, Camille."
I turned on my heels and Zayn led the way to the front door. We stopped in the entryway to say goodbye.
"Thank you for inviting me in." I started.
"I'm glad you came."
"Um... thank you for everything else too. I really appreciate you having my back." He nodded understandingly. "I'm really sorry I yelled at you before hearing your side of the story." I broke eye contact and looked down and off to the right a bit. " And I'm really happy I didn't kick your arse because I think I might have regretted it if I did."
Zayn laughed loudly. "It's okay. Don't apologize. I get it- I'm the best. Don't worry, I already know."
I playfully punched his arm and he laughed again. "Kidding, kidding! Seriously, though. There's no need to apologize. I understand. Now about Wednesday... can I have my driver, Leland, pick you up at 11:30ish and then bring you down to the studio because outsiders aren't allowed inside without permission. We can have lunch together and then hang out for a bit. Does that sound okay to you?"
"Perfect," I confirmed. He kissed my cheek and enticed me in a hug. I glanced over his shoulder to see a mess of dark curls peeking out from the back room.
"Harry... I can see you," I remarked. The curls vanished and I waved goodbye to Zayn. I stepped outside and into the cold winter air that mercilessly nipped at my body. My parked car waited patiently for my return.
*Zayn's POV*
I softly closed and locked the front door and returned to the back room to rejoin the boys. Harry looked at me, confusion.
I slowed to a stop. "What?"
"You didn't kiss her."
I rolled my eyes. "Really? I wasn't aware."
"Why didn't you?" He asked, completely dismissing my sarcasm.
I plopped down on the couch and laid on my stomach. "Well, her best friend, Rita, told me she's not one to fall fast so I didn't want to kiss her and mess things up. I feel like if she wants to kiss me, she will."
"But she already kissed you. It's your turn, bud. She's waiting for you to do something."
I contemplated his suggestion in my head. "Maybe you're right. I'll definitely think about it. Besides, we're technically not even going out."
