*Zayn's POV*
"Hey, lads." I smiled to the group as I walked onto the bus. The doors closed behind me and we set off towards the arena. I took a seat across from Niall. The others seemed to be confused by my unusually cheery mood as they looked back and forth between each other and then at me.
"Hi," Niall said slowly, his eyebrows scrunched together questioningly. "Are you alright?" he asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"You're just- you sound... normal. More like yourself than you have been lately." By the looks of it, all of the others agreed.
I looked down at my twiddling fingers and smiled. "Well..." I trailed off.
"'Well', what?" he asked, interested in where this was going.
"Well," I emphasized. "I talked to Camille last night."
"What? No way!" Louis said and they all crowded around me to listen to what I had to say. "What happened?"
"Well," I started. "I decided to call her because we hadn't talked since she left, and... I don't know, we just talked for a bit. We both apologized for some things and I think we're on better terms now. I don't know exactly where we stand, but neither of us are necessarily mad at the other one, so I guess that's a step towards improvement."
"See!" Niall said excitedly. "I told you she'd come around!"
I chuckled at his eagerness. "Yeah, I guess. But I don't know where to go from here, you know?"
"You're smart. You'll figure it out," he replied.
"I hope so," I shrugged. "And by the way, I wanted to talk to you, Harry," I said and turned to face him.
His eyes widened and he cleared his throat. "Um, about what," he asked.
I looked at the other boys who didn't seem to understand what I meant. "I was kind of thinking of talking to you more alone..."
"Oh!"
"Gotcha."
"Yeah, we'll just... go elsewhere."
The other three boy stood up and went to the back of the bus and closed the door behind them so Harry and I were the only other two at the front of the bus. I guessed we still had a couple minutes left until we arrived at the O2, so I thought it would be good to confront Harry before the day really started.
Harry sat across from me and the look on his face told me he was worried. He must have thought I was going to yell at him or something of the sort by the way he was very clearly trying not to look at me. We hadn't really talked much since we had our fight on Monday during our celebration of the upcoming start of the tour.
"I'm not mad at you, anymore," I said quietly. "I realized it was dumb."
He perked up and finally made eye-contact with me. "Really?"
I shook my head. "Yeah. It wasn't entirely your fault and I blamed a lot of it on you."
"But I was the one-"
I put up a hand to cut him off. "No, you don't have to explain or anything. I was the problem because I probably wouldn't have been in this situation if I hadn't blown up on her. Again, not your fault."
He nodded. "Thanks." A silence fell over the two of us before he spoke again. "Just a quick question, though. Are you really going to move out or did you just say that in the heat of the moment?" he asked.
