The dark room, and her dark glossy orbs, both were conversing with him, without words, and the rhythm of that beautiful silence felt endearing to him.
Satyakirth was smiling, his eyes on hers,  and a drop of tear escaped from the slit of her eyes, fading away into her hairline.

"Why are you crying Princess?" He hushed, half lying on the bed, and his left arm had cradled her neck from behind, pulling her close to his chest.

"I'm not." Raimoti's lips quivered.
"This looks like a fairytale Satyakirth Sen, and I know I'm not meant for one."

"What if it is?" Satya touched her nose with his finger tip and then wiped her tears gently.

"Then will it be a happy fairy tale?"

"Why think about the end and cry when the journey is so beautiful Miss Mukherjee?" Satya made her lie on her pillow, removing his hand slowly, as he started to pull down the cotton nightwear from her shoulder.

"What are you doing?" Rai gasped, and her eyes suddenly widened at his smirking face.

"I'm doing what I do best." He winked back and slowly pulled open the bandaged dressing from her shoulder.
"Am taking care of you."

Raimoti didn't reply, instead she smiled and turned over, picking up the small bottle of antiseptic that she had kept on the bedside table, after clearing her minor bruises with it before hitting the bed. She knew he would need it, and she knew he would look for it, but wanted him to not leave her even for a second, not even to fetch her medicines.

Satya had that calm yet naughty smile plastered to his lips, as he slowly cleaned her wounds, and throughout she clutched the front of the dress-robe that he had worn, his lips leaning down on her skin from time to time, soothing her with the warmth of his kisses.

"How many women have you treated so intimately before?" Rai groaned, as he patched up the wound on her shoulder and gently turned her around to make her lie on her stomach, her bare back was now exposed to his mercy, and although the gown had still covered her bosoms moderately, Satya had pulled down the back of the cloth to her waistline in order to have a good access of her bandaged skin.

"None as beautiful as you." Satya pulled the bandage and Rai jumped up at the sudden sensation that it inflicted, it was less painful and more startling, her hands had instinctively grabbed the soft white bedsheet, creasing it in her grip.

"So..." Rai gulped, " you have been with women?"

"I have treated them."

A sharp sting made her skin burn as she felt the closeness of Satya's lips, blowing air on the area.

So sweet... She thought, and her mind ployed another naughty mind game for him.

"You are really good at this... And this new technique of treating... Well, the kisses definately worked daktar Babu."

"You think so?" Satya too was prepared.

"Yes, you should teach these methods to your juniors, say Batuk may be, and he might as well..."

"How is Batuk coming in between?"
Satya had patched the wound at her back as well, as he gently pressed her shoulders, gesturing her to lay still, as he quickly returned from the bathroom washing his hands.

"In between as in?"
Rai groaned.

"As in suddenly, out of nowhere, and that too when it's just you and me."
Satya had occupied his place back, on the soft bed, beside her, and Raimoti turned her head towards him, still lying on her stomach.
