Raimoti lay there alone, like an epitome of a queen, on that king sized poster bed inside the royal bedchamber, deservedly so. Wrapped up loosely by a thin layer of that red cotton saree, and an off white blanket tangled sensuously with it. The bedsheet was off-white too, the silk matching the glow of her skin. She wore no prominent jewellery, barring those thick silvery anklets shinning in the moonlight. Her wrists had adorned the contrasting red and white bangles ornamented with threads of white gold, and her vermillioned forehead was screaming of his breathing existence...
Raimoti looked so perfect, pristine like a fresh untouched layer of snow that's not yet felt the rough steps of humanity. She looked serene and beautiful, there can be no other way to put it; no similes or metaphors can do her justice. She was just in between being knackered and falling asleep. She had, had a long day at the palace, doing royal chores that were meant for her Raja Saheb, and as Satyakirth slipped inside the bedchamber through the large curtained window at the dead of that night, he couldn't take his eyes off her! She was almost asleep, and just by being there next to her, Satyakirth could tell how much he had been longing for her."There you are Princess..." He whispered, and in response Raimoti stirred in bed, her eyes closed, and her red lips parted a little.
Satyakirth felt a rush in his blood, a pleasing kind of rush, the kind that sends chill of ecstasy down the spine, alerting every cell of the body of the ardent desire that the mind felt.
He smiled at the sight of her alluring sleeping frame, her slightly wavy dark traces falling to the ground through the edge of the mattress, her head slipping off the silk pillow.
And in that very moment he realised how his heart beats for her in love!Satyakirth touched the left of his chest to calm his thumping heartbeat. It was only a little while ago that at the eastern border of his kingdom he had shot two notorious British police, one on the shoulder and the other on the leg, as if gifting them with life, and inturn a bullet had grazed his right ear where blood had formed a fresh clot in dark scarlet. Even then, not once, had he felt that pounding inside his chest that he felt in her presence...
Satyakirth had reclaimed the area around Raipur that night, and the loud ringing of the gunfire was still vibrating his eardrum, stealing his aural senses temporarily as it's price.
But all seemed distant now, as if in a different life, and Satyakirth stared at Raimoti's angelic sleeping face, drawing peace from her beauty.Raimoti had turned to her side, now lying on her left, facing the large wide standing mirror, and Satyakirth quickly got rid of his soiled half shirt before climbing in the bed from behind, his dhoti still worn as the last sheath of decency.
Raimoti was still asleep, and he could see her reflection in the mirror, now joined by his own, as he slowly lay on her pillow, gliding his right hand around her body, spooning her from behind."Princess..." his inhaled her fragnance and murmured her name inaudibly.
His left arm tightly wrapped around her body just the way she liked it the other night, and his forearm was beneath her bosoms. Satya slipped his right arm slightly under her waist holding around her flat sculpted stomach, his head touching hers. He could now smell her, her wonderful delicious natural perfume, and it helped in soothing his senses like magic. The heat of her body was invigorating, and the only thing stopping his chilly hands from touching her warm bare skin was the thin fabric of her saree.Satyakirth felt her slow heartbeat against his chest; she was calm. He saw her perfect neck and petite ear being illuminated by the silvery moonbeams; They were begging him to play, and he certainly would not refuse!
He moved his head closer towards the back of her neck, just where skin met her hair and he started to give small quick light kisses.
