Lev held his stomach laughing, both from the inquisition and the height remark. He handed Kou his plate with the chocolate cake donut.
The boy accepted the plate with a smile. "Thank you, Mr. Handsome Lev." His dark hair covered his mischievous eyes as he looked down at his plate to admire the beauty of the donut. He wished his dad could cook this way. But daddy is already always so tired.
"Of course, you are welcome," he looked from the child to Yaku, "I don't mind, Yaku-san. Although I feel like I'm having an informal interview, haha." Lev looked from Yaku to Kou.
The teacher gave an awkward chuckle and prayed to all the gods that Kou would be merciful. He knew deep in his gut that Kou is not a merciful child at all. The boy had always been blunt and honest. But for Lev, Morisuke prayed. Hard. He prayed to all the gods out there for mercy on Lev's soul. If for anything other than his love, then for his peace of mind.
"No, Kou-chan. I do not have a partner. My bedtime is rather early for an adult, and I own the cafe so I'm fairly unavailable to meet someone new."
Oh... no partner, huh? Why? Morisuke bit his lower lip and sucked on it as he listened to the cafe owner answer the questions.
He paused and smirked, "And just in case, yes, I live alone. No, I do not have a pet. No, I would not mind a pet, I like animals. I would just feel sad that the pet is alone all day because I don't like being alone either."
Kou nodded. "Pets are easy to grow sad." He agreed while tracing his finger around the donut to scrape for some excess sweet stuff before putting his finger into his mouth.
"Oh, and I agree with you. Papa never grows fat", he winked looking at Yaku, and whispered to Kou, "or taller."
The child giggled and took a bite out of his donut, totally enjoying the moment. He chewed on it with his cheeks filled, making him look like a satisfied squirrel.
"In any case, I'm happy to have Yaku-san eat as much as he wants of my cooking. I'll even make something special, like coconut creme layer cake." Lev began to roll up his sleeves with precision and speed, as he was indeed getting hot. You can see his chest and biceps ripple from the motions and reveal his sculpted forearms from bakery work.
Morisuke's brain was about to explode from all the answers given by his former junior. So no partners. That's good. But no time for one, huh? Too bad. So... does Morisuke have to wait for Lev to have time for a partner again? More waiting? He filled his lungs with the fragrant air of the cafe and held it in for a few seconds before slowly letting it out. Damn. Wait... technically, he did not wait. What a shorty slut.
He pushed his hair back and watched the half-Russian move behind the display case. With every word that came out of his mouth, Morisuke took in deeply. With every movement, he had to gulp. Those muscles... that skin... that neck... He shook his head and cleared his throat. Yup. He was damn thirsty for his former kohai. Obviously. Lev would definitely be good in bed. Damn lucky women who ever had a taste of him.
Kou grinned at Lev and walked back to the table, totally satisfied with being helpful for his teacher. "Thank you so much again, Mr. Lev," he said and sat beside Mori once more.
Morisuke simply sighed once more. "I'm so sorry about that. Kou is a curious cat. Don't mind his questions. But it's a surprise that you aren't dating." He did not follow Kou immediately but watched him walk towards their table. He smiled when the boy offered his donut to Mori. What a thoughtful child.
"I don't mind. All kids are curious. At least he is polite when being forward." Lev also watched Kou get back to the table. He looked at Yaku then down at his own hands rested on the case.
