Lev had felt a small relief seeing his Love, but then the pit in his stomach grew, did he hear the conversation? How much of the conversation? Is he going to leave me? Hate me? Lev's heart needed to restart, because he really felt he was about to lose his heart.
"I have no problem with that because I know you're in love with me. The question is... is there a possibility that you are actually in love with him?"
He closed his eyes, took in a deep breath, and when he opened them he stared Yaku down, "No."
His eyes did not flicker, glance, or blink. They stared into Yaku's, unwavering. "No, I am not in love with him. I care for him but it is not the same. That is what I kept trying to get him to understand. But I hurt him, I enjoyed the company, but it never felt right. I felt hollow and then felt guilty about that too. He is a good person and I didn't treat him fairly. I-I'm sorry that you heard... things. If you want you can kick my ass like you used to, but I'm just happy you're here."
Morisuke pushed himself off of the table and walked to his boyfriend. "I heard everything," he admitted, removing the earpods from his ears and dropping them in Lev's hands. "I'll have to be honest with you," he walked away from the tall man to pace a little, the high of feeling the success of not letting Ryuuki ruin his day has died down. So he paced, trying to find the right words for his younger lover. Gentle words that will ease his heart and give him peace. Soft language that will soften the blow of things. It took him a while but he did not care much about rushing things.
Lev started to panic internally, and as less as possible externally. If he heard all the call then...but wait then he knows I'm not lying. Please say something, if, if you are going to leave me just...no no don't cry don't cry don't cry. Lev held back his tears, he didn't even let his tear ducts fill. He watched Yaku pace, analyzing his movements against his knowledge of this man, for any sign that he would not lose him.
Morisuke realized that he's been pacing for more time than he had planned. He stopped and looked at Lev, immediately feeling guilty when he saw that the younger man was doing his best not to cry. "Oh, no no no... No, it's not bad, I'm so sorry," he stepped to the tall man and cupped his face gently. "No, Tiger... I'm sorry, I upset you..." he whispered and pulled him down gently to plant kisses on his lips. "I just... oh, baby..." now he forgot what he was about to say. Geez... "Hug me, my Lev..."
Lev let out the world's longest held breath for sure. He didn't just hug Yaku, he lifted him up, and held tight, trembling. "I thought I was going to lose you, I don't want to lose you again. I just got you back. Not just back but better than back." He didn't really make sense with that last sentence; he was too relieved to care about making sense.
He yelped when he was easily lifted up, but he tightened his hold on Lev. "You won't..." he assured the younger man. "You won't lose me again, Lev... And I won't lose you either," he pulled back a little and cupped Lev's cheeks gently. He looked into his eyes lovingly. "I don't care if my rival is stunning as fuck, as long as you're in love with me... as long as you want me... then I'm staying. You hear me? I'm yours, Haiba Lev..." he tilted his head up to show his marked skin. "Aren't these proof that I'm yours?" He grinned and then he also opened Lev's shirt slightly. "And aren't these marks on your skin proof that you're mine?"
Lev's heart flooded with relief then at the confirmation. He kissed Yaku softly, and then deeply.
The libero's breath caught as his lips were taken. He answered by sucking on his lover's tongue and moaning out when his mouth was explored by the said tongue once more.
"Yes, all yours. Haiba Lev is for Yaku Morisuke." Lev groaned, seeing the marks he made he wants to make more of them now. He placed his forehead with a slight thud on his beloved's shoulder. "My Love, can we go home now?"
