I walked in and sneaked to search the rooms for her. I saw her in the first room, smiling at the mirror. She was also shirtless. Hot.

I quietly sneaked in while she pulled out her knives carefully. She ran her finger along the edge. I grabbed her shoulder.

She swung around with her knives.

"So you aren't weak, huh?" I smirked.

"Guess not." I pecked her cheek.

"Not that I don't love you, but why are you here?"

I smiled and hugged her shoulders.

"The interviews are tomorrow," I fake acted scared.

"Nice acting, even better than mine."

She kissed my lips and picked me up and put me on the bed, and held me secure.

"Don't worry, I'll help you through those 'scary' interviews." I giggled.

She rolled her eyes and pulled me closer.

I fell asleep quickly in the safety in her arms.

I woke up to the sound of running water. Johanna was probably brushing her teeth or something.

"Johanna?" I called, "No, that's too long, you need a nickname."

"Nooooooooooo." She groaned, toothpaste slightly spilling out of her mouth.

"Not Jo, that sounds generic, you need something for only me."

She closed her eyes. Then spit out the toothpaste.

"An! Nah. Han. That's you." She looked at me confused.

"Han?"

"That's you."

"Thank you ... Ven."

"Ven and Han. We sound different, but just for us." She came over and sat beside me

I kissed her nose.

"Come on, Ven, we need to get up, Haymitch and Effie are worried for you." That was probably true, but I was comfy and didn't want to really leave.

"But I don't want to go!"

She picked me up and I lightly struggled. She smiled and brought me to the elevator.

"Before I go... do you mind if I call you in my interview?"

"O-Okay." Back to the stupid act, it was becoming more of an inside joke.

"B-b-bye."

I smiled and went in the elevator, pushing the button labeled '12'.

"And the District 12 girl ... Aven River!"

Ceaser Flickerman smiled wildly when I came out in a long black dress still covered in coal. It was ugly but still not as bad as the first.

I sat in the interview chair, crossing one leg over the other.

"Welcome, Aven! How has the Capitol treated you?"

"Wonderful, you have great food and ... fashion."

Laughs came from the crowd. They knew we dressed plainly in the districts, and they probably made fun of us for that.

I spotted Haymitch slapping his face. I told him I got it, didn't I?

"Actually can I bring out a special someone?"

I didn't care if it was legal. Actually, it wasn't, but whatever, we were already going to die for their entertainment.

Han came out, nervous, doing a good job.

I pulled her costume and pulled her in for a kiss, she acted scared and kissed back.

The crowd cheered, deafening every one. When we pulled apart, she shyly smiled.

"I've got someone on my side!" I smiled huge and the bell rang and we walked off, me confident and Han being nervous. We acted like this, until Raven was the done.

Haymitch looked at me, a mix of madness and a smile. Mostly mad though.

"Sweet? Quick? Ring a bell sweetheart?" Raised eyebrows.

"Nope, not one."

He sighed and congratulated Raven. Effie smiled at both me.

"If this is what makes you happy, then do it." She kissed my head.

I hugged her than brought Han to the elevator.
