"That's enough" Victor laughed as he took the bottle of whiskey out of one of his friends hands "don't want to be carrying you back to the hotel tonight"
"Don't you worry about me Vic i know what i'm doing unlike blondie over there" he cockily replied signalling he's head over to me. He didn't seem to have a problem with me he was just overly sure on himself, yes he was good looking, if your into arrogant over achievers. He was supposedly outstanding in he's field of work. Ofcourse i didn't bother to ask what that was
"It would be wise of you to keep your mouth shut on me" i spat at him "maybe if you could keep up with us you might enjoy your time here better"
"That my friend is what i plan on doing tonight" he smiled standing almost tripping "i'm going to find someone to dance with"
i rolled my eyes as the boys around me laughed
"He's name is Tom, and you would like him if you gave him a chance" Victor whispered to me
"I am giving him chance but anyone that has ever spoke down to me, well it hasn't ended well for them" i stated sipping my drink as the brunette girl from the night before sat on my lap
"Yes yes that i know" he chuckled
"Has your Father called for you yet?" Victor asked
"I got a letter from him i haven't got to return home yet, but he has asked me to attend a business meeting regarding the property here of the sacred 28" i answered
The scared 28 families are those that are believed to be the only true pure-blooded families, the oldest wizarding families known. Legally in both the Wizard World and the Muggle World the property laws are the same, the ministry works with the muggle world leaders to assure ownership of land is final for whomever it is purchased by.
The sacred 28 got together around 60 years ago and promised to join forces to co-own as much land as possible all over the globe so that eventually we would own most of the worlds land. As time went on there was less and less families involved, they rather broke the laws and lost their rights or they sold their rights. There was only 9 families left in the property deal. Malfoy, Nott, Oliverander, Lestrange, Flints, Avery, Monroe, Windsor and Astra.
My Father always made me attended the meetings with him until I turned 16 then he made me completely fill in the meetings alone so i could get a better understanding of business. I wasn't looking forward to seeing the parents of my friends back home, mostly Mr Astra considering I basically ran away from him at he's manor. If he mentions it I'll tell him I'm here for business only.
"OH MY FUCK I LOVE THIS SONG" the girl sitting on my lap screamed in my ear "let's go dance please please please"
"Come on boys let's go" Victor grabbed the hands of the girls around and headed for the dance floor
"So? Can we?" She grinned at me
I leaned in to her ear "Only if you tell me your name"
She hit me on the arm
"You really don't remember do you?"
I clenched my teeth and shrugged my shoulders
"Layla" she sighed sadly but not sad enough to leave
"Well ok Layla, let's go dance" I lifted her off my lap and let her drag me to the dance floor

The music was vibrating through my body as the alcohol intoxicated me.
"GIGI GIGI!!!" Milan screamed over to me rushing holding hands with a figure I couldn't see trailing behind "look who's here" she pulled Victor Krum infront of me
