Preparing for the day is proved to be very hard knowing what the future holds for you--- well, for the whole city. Hye-wol is exemptionally sluggish today, moving as if she's carrying the whole weight of the world on her shoulders.

Making sure that the knot on her sneakers was tight and secured, she stood up from crouching down and walk to stand in front of the full body mirror. Aside from researching and physically preparing for the impending apocalypse, Hye-wol visited the mall yesterday to find the perfect shoes to wear; lightweight, comfortable, and doesn't make loud sounds when in use. Although the only variety available was white, it could still work. Hye-wol also made it a point to wear a thick black sweater on top of her uniform and knee high black socks so blood won't stick to her skin.

She brought a water bottle but she decided against bringing food since hunger is one of the main problems they encountered. If she bring food, it has the higher risk of changing the continuity. And it's only for three days, she can go with three days without food but dehydration will surely affects her movement.

She also brought a box of band-aid since the Jonas Virus could enter the body through abrasions or opening in skin. She brought wet wipes, too. Now for the weapons, she decided against bringing one because not only they would get suspicious if they find out she has weapons but also have the possibility to alter the continuity. Her plan was not to fight but to stick close with the survival group and avoid being bitten as long as she can. As long as the continuity follow its right course, she would know how to avoid the attacks.

"Shim Hye-wol, you snail!" Series of loud knocks snapped her back from her reverie, Na-yeon's voice echoing from the other side of the door, "We're going to be late!"

Hye-wol grabs her backpack, opening her door with unimpressed look, "I was ready even before you wake up so don't talk like I've made you wait for hours."

Na-yeon rolls her eyes, "Whatever."

The cousins made they way out of the building, the sun shining down on their faces as the slightly cold breeze brushes their hair back. From the distance, they could see Nam-ra passing by them.

"Nam-ra yah!" Na-yeon softly calls her but the class president didn't even stop. She didn't bother calling the girl, knowing that she couldn't hear them, "Yah, Class President!"

Through her stay in this universe, there's not a single day that she didn't talk to Nam-ra--- although most of their conversation is one-way, Hye-wol knows that the latter is listening to her stories, regardless of how spontaneous and weird some of her stories are.

Na-yeon pouted for being ignored, "What a snob." she hooks her arm around Hye-wol's as they walk together, "I don't understand why you even talk to her. It's obvious that the interest weren't returned."

"Nam-ra's not a snob and the interest is definitely returned. She's an introvert and she won't going to talk to you unless you talk to her." Hye-wol defended her favorite character.

"She's a snob, she thinks everyone's beneath her just because she's smart so stop defending her. I tried talking to her but she's not answering," Na-yeon reasoned out, "And you're not a Psychologist to diagnose her as an introvert."

Hye-wol nearly rolled her eyes, "Being introvert is not a mental disorder, it's a personality type. So being a Psychologist or not didn't matter."

Na-yeon huffed, "Alright, Hermione Granger."

"Yah!"

Both of the cousins turn around at the commotion, seeing a bunch of students running pass their direction. Gyeong-su leap, slapping Na-yeon on the shoulder making her stumble on her steps.
