The rotation of the helicopter's propeller as it hover above them sends gushing wind that nearly knock them off, the strong wind making it harder for them to open their eyes as the light shine down on them.

Dae-su was the first and only one to stand up, not even thinking but rushes towards the edge to catch the attention of the people inside the helicopter. Help, Rescue, Hope. That's the three words that keeps repeating inside his mind as he jump in his spot waving his hand while shouting, "Hey! Over here!"

The others stood up to, albeit nonchalantly as Joon-yeong held Hye-wol up, his arms still wrap around her figure as the strong gust of wind blew their hair back.

As the helicopter came near them, the wind from the propeller forces them to step back, the guys and the two girls immediately shielding Hye-wol from the harsh light and wind, welcoming the wind so the lass would not get its harsh attacks. However, it was futile as the helicopter came closer, two ropes dangling down as two uniformed personnel came zipping down the rooftop.

The moment their feet touches the ground, guns were immediately aimed at them. This forces the students to keep their hands up in the air. Two more personnel in tactical suits zips down before the helicopter flies away-- or rather in front of a room.

Dae-su steps forward, intending to speak to the armed men but got his response when the guns were aimed at him, "Get down! All of you!"

"Sir, can you help m---us?" There's desperation on Dae-su's voice as his eyes waters.

"Face down on the ground! Get down!" the military personnel commanded them.

Totally done with this scene and still pissed off that they left them the first time, the students-- aside from Dae-su kneels on the ground without hesitation, placing both their hands on the ground as they lay with their stomach. Dae-su followed after, although more reluctantly.

The military personnel reports back to their commander in monotone voice while the other men starts checking their temperature. As expected, all of them has a normal temperature aside from Nam-ra which the military personnel concluded to be a sign of hypothermia. She was given a heating blanket as the men in tactical suit goes on to do their mission.

After retrieving the information they needed, Dae-su immediately steps forward to get himself in preparation to being pulled up to the helicopter, wearing the harness with the help of the military personnel.

Just as Dae-su was near to reaching the platform, he was zip back down. In confusion, he started to twist around, yelling questions after question the moment his feet touches the ground.

"What's happening? What does this mean? Get me out of here! Please save me!" he begged but got pushed back by the squad leader, guns aiming at him which made him halt, "Please, take me with you. I-I'm going to die in here. Please, I'm begging you!"

"Stand back! We're going to shoot you! I said stand back!" The soldier ordered the kids--- more like Dae-su as he's the only one literally begging them to take him with them.

However, that didn't made the squad leader any less guilty because although the others weren't forcing themselves to them, their eyes speaks so much. The betrayal, the anger, the spite, there are tons of negative emotions swimming on their eyes and evident on their facial expression but he can't do anything. He's a soldier and this is an order.

So he did it despite of the reluctance and guilt enveloping his system, "Okay team, get on the chopper!" he commanded and the team oblige.

"Please! Just take me! I can't stay here! I'm going to---"

"Shoot them!"

Due to his commander's pressure, the squad leader was force to shoot the sky, sending warning shots to the students. Hye-wol flinch so as Nam-ra, the latter appearing more hurt than the former.
