"Hye-wol ah,"

Cheong-san was then again ignored by Hye-wol who entertains herself by counting stains and dusts along the corner of the music room, humming to herself as if she's alone in the room.

It wasn't even that long since they heard the message from the broadcasting room but Cheong-san keeps trying to get her attention. Of course, the lass was so bored that she decided to play the 'ignoring game' with Cheong-san--- not that the latter knew.

"Yah!" Cheong-san yell at her, marching to close their distance. He grabs her harshly on the arm, turning her so she would look at him, "You answer when I'm fucking talking to you, understand?"

Hye-wol's eyes widen, trying her best not to wince from the tight grip, "Oh? You said you're not going to hurt me! What are you doing? Isn't that hurting me?" she pointed out, even emphasizing her statement by pointing at Cheong-san's hand gripping her arm tightly yet a smirk plays on her lips, "If I get a bruise and they find out it was you, I don't know what will they do to you."

She read a fair share of stories with obsessive lead characters and although their 'love' is toxic, one thing that she can take advantage of is their protectiveness and tendency to do anything to protect their beloved. She knew she's playing with fire and she'll get burn in the end but she brought an ointment to heal the burn.

Hye-wol saw the contemplation on his eyes as his grip starts to loosen, "Now I'm asking for space or I'll cry right here and there until my eyes get swollen and they'll start to question whether it's good to leave me with you or not," she shrug, "I don't know, maybe they'll even consider to you-know-what you."

She nearly laugh when Cheong-san's eyes sharpen into a glare but his grip gradually loosen. Every second on this apocalypse starts to break the thin line between sanity and insanity.

"This is what you're going to remember, Shim Hye-wol. You're mine and I don't care of what they're going to say to me. They're no boss of me and I'll do what I want," Cheong-san's teeth grind to each other, jaw clenching and eyes significantly going darker, "I just want to sink my teeth in your flesh and gnaw your bones until you recognize who owns you, my sweet little rabbit."

Hye-wol is disturbed. She shudders at the completely different characterization of Cheong-san that even she, the writer couldn't recognize him, "Are you okay? Do you want a chew toy?"

Expecting him to get angry at her repsond, Hye-wol was taken a back when Cheong-san suddenly burst into laughter. No, not the light and innocent laugh you would expect with him but this is downright petrifying. The laughter that you wouldn't want to hear at the middle of the night while you're trying to get a glass of water in the kitchen, it is sinister-- full of malice even. He doesn't need a chew toy, he needs a professional help.

Hye-wol flinches when she felt Cheong-san's finger brushing her cheeks, "My sweet, innocent Hye-wol. You can even crack a joke at this moment. You're so naive and I can't wait to be the one to taint your innocence."

She doesn't know whether to be thankful for the arrival of the others or be scared even when she realize that Cheong-san's not the only one unhinged on the group.

"Cheong-san ah!" Gyeong-su were quick to approach him, pulling him into a hug that makes Hye-wol to release the breath she didn't even know she was holding, "Where were the two of you? You two makes me so worried!"

"Hye-wol ah," On-jo approaches her after closing the door behind her, "Are you okay? Oh my gosh, you're so pale." her arms wraps around the still petrified girl, her warmth somehow comforting.

"I hate to cut this reunion short but we have to go," Dae-su suddenly stated, pulling away from Cheong-san.

"To where?"

"We have to go to the rooftop before the meditation music ends." Wujin added, naturally gravitating around Hye-wol who stayed on On-jo's comforting arms.

"Come on, let's go!" Dae-su lead them out of the room as Hye-wol got pulled away. This time, she doesn't even care who.

However, as they were running through the hallway, the music starts to fade, Nam-ra and Su-hyeok running from the opposite side of the hallway hand-in-hand.

"Go in! Go inside!" Su-hyeok warns them, his voice echoing through the hallway.

Hye-wol was the first one to move, turning around and pulling whoever is holding her back to the music room, "Cut your crap, they're coming!"

The group all scamper back to the music room as the zombies from both sides of the hallway chases them. Su-hyeok closes the door behind him just as the zombie jumps to grab him, missing him by inches.

"The curtains!" Su-hyeok yelled particularly to no one as the group scramble to close the curtains.

When they finally manage to obstruct the zombies' view from the outside, they all collapses on the chairs.

"We're too late," Dae-su lamented, "We weren't able to get to the rooftop and now we're stuck again."

"There's zombies out there so..." Su-hyeok tried to say in between his heavy panting, "Let's think for a moment."

"Guys..." Jimin suddenly calls them when she notice one particular group not here with them, "Where's Hyo-ryeong?"

Hye-wol's head snap, roaming her eyes to find the said girl and even going as far as peeking through the drapes to find the girl, "Merlin's beard," she wasn't suppose to die.

"I didn't see her," Su-hyeok lied smoothly, "I thought she's with you guys."

"She.... I.... she wasn't.." Dae-su didn't know what to say, lost at words as he curses, "Fuck shit."

"Yah, pres," Jimin's breath hitches when her gaze fell to Nam-ra's arms, "What's that in your arm? Did you get bitten?"

Nam-ra didn't even look surprise even for just a second as she looks down to her bloodied arm, a very obvious tear on her cardigan as blood starts to seeps through the fabric of her uniform.

"Just bite me you idiot!" she yells to Gwi-nam as the three of them stand on the middle of the stairs.

"Can't I just see Hye-wol? I mean, we already know where this is going to. I'm kind of bored wandering alone," Gwi-nam reasoned out, playing with the knife that he had used to stab both the zombie and zombified Hyo-ryeong on their head.

"You still have missions to fulfill. You have to make sure that you see that stupid cousin of Hye-wol turned into a zombie. Everything must be perfect." Nam-ra stated in cold tone, "You need to not stop roaming the school until you find that bitch dead, okay?"

"I don't even remember where I found her but I know she's still alive," he scratches his head, "My memories been kind of blurry ever since I woke up like god."

"Just bite her, Gwi-nam so I could throw you to the window. The music's going to stop any minute from now." Su-hyeok impatiently butted in.

"Yah, can't we skip the falling in the window? That shit hurt." The bully stated.

Su-hyeok smirk, "No, you fell on the window on your past life, you have to do this again."

Gwi-nam glares at him, "I have a feeling that you're enjoying this so much, Lee Su-hyeok."
