Don't Forget About Me

Chapter 10

As we get into the city I am amazed by all the lights that are around us. I have never been to the city but I have always wanted to come. “Is this the first time that you have been in the city?” He asked, seeming very interested in getting to know me more. Earlier today, before I took my second nap, we talked alot about what kinds of music we listened to and our favorite foods. It was very interesting to know he was one of those people who hated tomatoes but loves ketchup. I don't think that I will ever understand that. “Nope, never been but I have always wanted to come.” 

As I keep looking around I see so many things. Buildings with all sorts of boutiques and clothing shops to all the different sorts of food shops. As we start coming up to another intersection I see a bunch of people standing outside and I am trying to see what they are waiting for. “Why are there so many people waiting outside there?” He laughed. “That's the club that we are going to, it's one of the best and people line up just to get in.” Feeling kind of discouraged about this whole dancing thing now I turn my head to Os. “We really don't have to go dancing tonight since they are so busy.” I say trying not to sound disappointed. He then pulls the car right up in front of the door and a man in a suit comes and opens my door. I turn to look at him with questioning eyes but he is already out of the car. As I go to get out he is already there waiting for me. 

“Good evening Mr.Riggs it's good to see you.” The man addressed Os as if they knew each other. “Hello Vince, it's good to see you again. It's been a while.” Watching their interaction I feel super awkward and confused. “Yes it has been a while but since you called ahead earlier they already have your table set up whenever you want to go upstairs.” Os smiled at the tall Men in Black looking man. “Thanks Vince, I'll catch up with you later.” Then Vince, I guess that's his name, Opens the door and lets us in. Os grabs my hand and keeps me close to him as we walk inside. It's very loud and when we walk through the next doorway I can see why. I see people everywhere and a DJ up high on a balcony jumping up and down. There are lights with all different colors going from wall to wall with the beat. This is amazing, I have never seen anything like this before. 

“Do you want to dance right away or do you want to grab a drink?” I am trying to figure out if I heard him right because it is so loud in here. “A drink would be great.” He starts to lead me to the bar where we can get a drink. He orders a whisky sour and looks at me for what I want. I am not much of a drinker so I shrug my shoulders. He says something to the bartender and when he comes back with something red with a piece of pineapple on the top I get a little excited. When I take a drink, it's amazing and tastes like candy. 

“What is this, it's fantastic?” After he takes a small drink himself he grabs my hand and starts to lead us to the stairs. “I just told the bartender to give me something fruity.” I smile and take another drink as we get to the top of the stairs. I notice the music gets a little quieter. When we get to a curtain Os pushes it aside and we walk in and I see Sara sitting on the Couch talking to a huge man. “Kels! Thank god I was worried that you weren't going to come.” I turned and looked at Os and he shrugged. Sara ran over and gave me the biggest hug and then stepped back and looked at me. 

“Well look at this dress on you Kels, you look super sexy.” I blush a little but secretly I am super excited that Sara is here. “It's good to see you too Sara. How did you get here?” She turned to gesture to the man on the couch who already got up and was talking to Os. “That’s Octavious, he is your man's cousin. He came to the apartment earlier and totally freaked me the fuck out. When I answered the door I thought I was being punked because look at the dude, he's built like a damn brick house!” All I could do is laugh but I am super glad she is here because it takes away a lot of the nerves of being around Os by myself. I try to study Octavious because I can see the similarities but Sara is right he is huge and very handsome I might add. As I turn to say something else to Sara the boys are standing right infront of us. 

“Kelsey I would like to introduce you to my cousin Octavious, Oct this is Kelsey.” I went to reach out my hand but he grabbed my hand and went to give me a hug instead. “Sorry I'm a hugger, I might seem all tough and stuff but big softy here when it comes to the ladies. It's nice to meet you Kelsey, I have heard a lot about you.” I see him nudge Os in the arm and chuckle.  I definitely don't want to know what that is about. Os comes over and grabs me by the waist and leads me to the large sofa that they were on when we come in. Sara and Octavious came and joined. There was a waitress that came in after we were sitting there for a minute and I noticed that there were fresh drinks on the table. I looked up at Os and he leaned down and whispered in my ear 

“I hope that you have a good time because once we get back to the house I have a whole other plan for the rest of the night.” When I turned my head and looked at him I saw nothing but lust there and knew that there might not just be dancing going on tonight.
