Chapter 41

We walked back into the living room in silence and Os was to me in a few strides. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me to him. “I'm going to be ok, Dr. Leslie took great care of me.” When I pull back and look into his eyes I see all the sorrow and worry stuck in there. I reach my hand up and cup his face to try and relax him a little. “I love  you.” he says it soft enough for me to hear it but I know the Dr heard it too. I smile. “I love you too.” He let me go and walked over to Dr.Leslie. 

“Thank you for everything, I don't know what to do to make it up to you?” She looked from him to me. “Keep her out of this life Osvaldo, if you know what's good for her.” He looked down at me and nodded. “That's the plan.” and just like that she was walking out of the door then she turned slightly. “Osvaldo has my phone number, please call to make an appointment at my office in the next month so that I can check on you again.” I smile because I think I might have found someone else that I could trust in. “I will, I promise.” She then turns and walks out the door to her car. We wave as she drives away and I lean into Os and just feel his warmth. But I know that this isn't going to last forever. We turn and walk back into the house and to the kitchen because I am starving. 

After we get done eating and start to clean up, Sara comes up behind me. 

“Want to go for a swim today? Maybe it will be good for you and help you relax a bit?” That does sound fun but then I remember the message from my father and I have to tell them what he said. “I really need to talk with you guys real quick.” I walk into the living room where the boys are and Sara follows me. They both turn to me with questioning looks. “My father messaged me.” As soon as I said it the guys straightened up and waited for what I would say next. “He said it was happening tonight and to tell you but for me to stay hidden.” Os looked at Octavius and nodded. What the hell was happening? 

“Is there something that you want to share about that?” Os put his hands in his pockets and looked at me with this glare I don't recognize. “They have a plan on how to get my father by himself and take him. After they get him we will head to the site that he will be held at to confront him. After that happens he disappears and no one will know where he goes.” Disappears? I am not being left out of this. “I'm going with you, that is not a request, it's a statement. You both know that I have every right to confront him myself. He has taken everything away from me and I will be there when it's all taken from him.” I cross my arms trying to make it seem like I'm more badass than I actually am but Os doesn't flinch. 

“No, you are not coming.” He said it like he was talking to a child. “You will not tell me what I am doing. I'm going and that's it.” I try to hold my ground the best that I can. “If she stays with us she will be fine, Os. This will give her closure just as much as it will for you.” Octavius is trying to reach his cousin which I appreciate but I don't know if it will work. “Kelsey came with me.” Shit, now he's mad. Os grabs my hand and takes me back to the room. I'm starting to feel like I spend way too much time here. “You understand why I don't want you to go, right? There are so many things that could go wrong baby and I can't lose you.” He grabs my face and plants a kiss on my lips. I pull back and look at him. 

“I know why you don't want me to go but you should know why I have to go. I will stay right with you and not go anywhere else. I just need to be able to close this chapter in my life so that we can start ours. Os please let me do this.” I'm pleading and am wondering if I need to get on my knees and beg. Yea im not fucking doing that. Just when I think there is no hope in this he grabs my chin and looks at me. “Do not leave  my side, I mean it.” Holy shit he's letting me come. For some reason I feel extremely nervous now and the sick feeling is coming back. “Thank you.” I reach up and give him a kiss  that shows him that he can trust me. The kiss deepens with want but I know that we can do much more than this so I savor it. Os pushes his tongue in my mouth and I moan a little. He reaches around and grabs my ass and the sensations I'm feeling have been missing for so long it feels like. 

“Os, we have to stop. I can't go any further right now.” He pulls back and just looks at me with all the love in his piercing blue eyes. “It's ok baby” He grabs my hand and we head out to the living room. Sara and Os are nowhere on site. I take a look outside through the window and see them in the lake. They are having so much fun, I hate that we have to leave this sanctuary that we have all created together but we have too. Os heads out there to let them know that  we have to leave soon and I don't even need to see their reaction because it's the same as mine but it's time for all of this to end. It's time for Mario Riggs to Die.
