Before we walk out the front door and head for Os’s car I turn and look back at the small cottage. This place was meant to feel like home and it does that and more. This is a safe place and I will hold that dear to me forever. Os catches me staring inside and comes next to me. He plants a kiss on the top of my head. “We will come back here baby, this is ours now.” I looked up at him because he just called this place ours.

“Ours? Are you sure?” He pulled me in and gave me a small kiss on the lips now. “Yes, ours.” We share one more look than head to the car where Octavius and Sara are already waiting for us. I love the feeling that I get when I think of this place as ours but it comes with fear as I don't know what the next few days will hold. We start to go down the driveway and we are off back to the danger and my father.

As we get closer I can feel my breathing starting to pick up again. “Can we stop at our apartment so that we can get a change of clothes?” Sara says. “Os looks into the rearview and stares at Octavius who gives him a small nod.

“Fine, but we need to go through the back door in case it's still being watched.” Back door? I didn't know there was a back door but thinking about it I guess I had no reason to want to know.  “Ok that's fine.”  We pull up in the alley behind the building and all of us get out. Oh look there is a door. Os goes over to it and opens it to look around first as we wait. He comes back out and motions us to go in. When we get in I notice that we are in the stairwell. I never take the stairwell so that makes sense how I wouldnt know about the door. We start to walk up and about halfway I realize that I need to get a trainer or something when this is all over because this is exhausting. Hell it's not fazing either of the guys and Sara seems like she's doing ok. We get to our floor and my legs are screaming at me. I try not to show it but Os must see through me like normal and he laughs a little. “It's not that funny.” I say with a firm look. He pulls me in for a small hug then pushes me through the door.

Octavius was first through to look around and make sure no one was there. It was oddly quiet in the hallway but we made it to our room. When Sara put the key in the door we walked in. Not going to lie I was waiting to walk in to someone here waiting for us like last time but i'm relieved that there was no one. “Hurry and go change, we need to go.” Sara and I both make eye contact and take off to our rooms. I watch as Sara walks into her room and shuts her door then I do the same but as soon as I turn after shutting the door all I see is green eyes then something is put over my mouth and then the darkness comes.

I'm awakened by hitting my head on something. It feels like I'm moving but it's dark and I can't see anything. My hands are tied behind my back and there is something over my head. “What the fuck, let me go you asshole.” No response. What the hell am I going to do. Shit, I hope they didn't hurt the others. The thought is playing in my head but I have to think that I am the only one that was taken seeing as how he jumped me in my room. How did he get in my room? Thinking hard to myself, that damn window, Os was right I should really work on locking that. I'm assuming we are in a car because I feel it come to a stop and I hear mumbling but can't make out any words. I hear something open then I feel rough hands grab me and pull me out as if I don't weigh anything.

“Let me go you asshole!” I start to move around to get him to drop me but have no plan after that. “Stop moving you bitch!” a male voice says and I have no clue who that is. Is it the green eyed man? Is it another one of Mario’s goons? I keep moving around until something hits me across the face and it feels like a ton of bricks. My head is spinning now, I think he just hit me. I hear a door open and close. I try to start to move around again but my body is so exhausted.

“Please just let me go.” my pleads go unanswered. I can't cry because that will show weakness and if this is the end they will not be getting that from me. I think that we are walking down stairs now and I hear talking. I just listen now to see if I can use anything that I hear or they say to get out of here. “What the fuck did you do to her?” A different man says. “She was being a little bitch so I knocked her out.” Or so he thought, guess perks for having my face covered.

“Get her in there, we  will deal with her once we get her once we let her father know we have her.” Shit my father? They are going to use me as bait. The voices start to quiet down until I don't hear them anymore. I stay still for what seems like forever then I start to move. First how the fuck am I getting the face covering off. I start to shake my head down to slip it off but it only gets it so far but I notice that it's far enough that if I bend over I can hook my foot on it. Alright Kelsey you got this. A little pep talk doesn't hurt anyone. After about a dozen attempts I got it. I look around, allowing my eyes to adjust and notice I'm in some nasty basement.

I look around and see a chair in the middle of the room and a table on the wall with a sheet over it. I don't want to know what is under that, that's for sure but there might be something that can help get my hands free. I push myself to the wall and use that to help me get up. My legs are extremely wobbly but I make it to the table and lean on it. I use my teeth to move the cloth. My eyes widen when I see all the tools and not your usual garage tools but more like medical tools. I am totally dead if I don't get out of here. I see the one that resembles a saw and hesitate for a second when reaching for it because I'm terrified to know what they have done with these. My imagination just goes wild. I turn around and hold onto it while trying to rub the teeth up and down on whatever is holding me.

The friction is eating into my wrist but I don't care I need to get this off. With one last stroke it snaps. The saw fell to the ground with a loud thump and I paused hoping that no one heard that. After standing there in a freeze frame moment no one came. I breathed out, noticing that I was actually holding my breath. I start to look around more and realize there is no way out other than the door I came in. “Fuck”
