As we got off the plane at the airport I took a quick breath because that was a long flight. "It's so warm here, I can't wait to get my bikini on and go swimming!" During the flight Sara was talking about everything from shopping to swimming to how many people we could get for a party at her parents house after they leave. I didn't know the women had so many different thoughts at once but damn she did.

"I think that I might take a nap if that's ok because the flight was a lot." I say cautiously, I don't want to discourage her. "Yea totally fine. I'll make some calls and see if any of my old friends are around this summer so you can meet them!" I smile at her as we go to get our baggage and head out to get a cab. When we walk through the door just after baggage claim there is a guy holding a sign that says Ms. Johnson and Ms. Scott. I looked at Kelsey with questioning eyes, she didn't mention us having a driver?

"Maybe my parents sent a driver so we didn't have to take a cab, that's sweet." As we approach the man I'm very cautious because of what Os told me. "Maybe we should just grab a cab still since they didn't tell you about a driver?" I asked, looking at her firmly. "Oh it's fine Kels, let's ask him who sent him." She walked over to the man with the sign and was talking with him. She started to walk back to me with a smile on her face.

"Octavious got us the driver, isn't that sweet." Feeling still off about the situation I grab my bags and go with her towards the car. We get in the SUV and then we are off. "Do you need directions sir?" Sara was doing something on her phone as she talked to the driver but I looked up and met his eyes in the rear view and it gave me chills. "No mam, I have your parents address in the GPS already." She finally looked up and smiled "OK great!" I turn my head and look out the window feeling out of it a bit. We drive for what feels like a lifetime but as we turn another corner Sara all of a sudden jumps up.

“Look there it is Kels, Isn't it the cutest?” I look through the front windshield and see this huge house. Cute is definitely not the word that I would use to explain it. It's like one of those houses that you see in one of those home magazines. The driver drives us around a fountain and parks in front of the double wide door. I knew her family had money but I guess I just wasn't expecting this. The driver comes over and opens the door. Sara gets out first and then I follow. I stepped out and stumbled a bit but the driver caught me.

“Be careful, miss, I would hate it if you got hurt.” I turned and looked at him still with that feeling in my gut. “Thanks for catching me.” I say and look forward when I hear the door open. Sara’s parents are coming out with big smiles on their faces. “Sara, it's so good to see you! And Kelsey you look so well sweetheart. How was your flight? Jane says. Jane is Sara’s mom, she's the best. Kind of took me in and acted like a surrogate mom to me. Anytime they would send something to Sara they would send me something too. “Hi mom! I have missed you so much!” Sara gave her mom the biggest hug and then her dad stepped in and grabbed me.

“Hello Kelsey, how are you doing?” I hugged him back and smiled. “I'm doing good Mr. Johnson, how are you two doing?” He smiled “We are doing good, but wanted to let you girls know that we had to change our flight plans again due to a storm coming in. We are actually leaving tonight so we only have a few hours to visit.” Sara frowns a little but I secretly know that she is jumping up and down inside. “That sucks dad, did you guys want to have dinner before you go?” I looked at her dad, his name is Kyle, and he nodded. Kyle is a businessman in and out. “Dinner would be great, did you want to eat in or go grab something?” We start to walk inside the house and I can't take my eyes away from the Victorian style that they have going on. Everything is so clean and crisp and very white.

“Sara, do you want to show Kelsey where she will be sleeping?” Sara grabbed my hand and pulled me up the winding staircase. As we get to the top you can look over the edge and see everything below. “Over here Kelsey, Your room will be across the hall from me.” We walk into the room and I swear it's bigger than our apartment. “There is a bathroom in here too so you still get your privacy.” She smiles and winks at me and I don't even want to know why she did that.

“Ok, should we get ready for dinner with your parents because it's already four?” I asked just so we can end this awkward moment. “Yea, let me run across the hall. I'll be ready at 10. Meet me downstairs?” I nodded and she left. All I wanted to do is have a moment to myself. I walked over to the bed and layed down on it. I decided that I just want to close my eyes for a second.

“How is she doing?” a male voice said “Sir I don't think you should be in here, it's not visiting hours.”  “I just want to know how she is, I’m a family friend.” There was a heavy sigh. “She's doing ok, she needs rest and fluids.” A woman's voice said. “Thank you so much, Can I just sit with her for a minute please?” The man asked and there was a long pause. “I am going to get her next round of meds, please be gone by the time I get back.” a door opened and closed. “I don't know if you can hear me but I am so sorry for everything that has happened to you. I will make sure nothing else happens to you, just get better.” I feel his touch on my hand. “Don't forget about me.” Then I feel a soft kiss on my forehead. A second later I hear a door open and shut.

“Kelsey! Wake up!” I shoot up trying to piece together what just happened. Holy shit I remember him. He came to check on me to make sure I was fine.. “Kels, are you ok? You weren't screaming but you were tossing around. Are you good?” I looked at her and smiled slightly. “Yes, I'm ok. Just my mind trying to make me crazy.” I went to get up and stand next to Sara. “Are we still having dinner? I hope I didn't sleep long. I'm so sorry if I ruined tonight?” “It's ok, My parents are downstairs waiting for us. Are you ok to go to dinner?” Sara was being cautious which was fine but I need to stop letting these dreams take over my life. I know what happened to my mom so I need to be able to let all of that go. “Yes I am ready, let's go!
