Kid or Squid: Splatoon Meets Ninjala

At the Albecore Hotel in Goby Town, everything was as luxurious as ever; the Jellies having fun in the Mahi Mahi Resort's lake sized squid shaped pool and the Inklings and Octolings playing around with each other. "Disgusting." Around the other side of the Resort's pool, Emperor was observing the new species that came out of the sewers like rats. He's never fond of anything octopus related due to his family being a big part of the First Ink Wars, but his brother Prince has a second opinion on that, but keeps it to himself. The other members of the golden team were lounging around just while Emperor tried to enjoy his tea. Aside from the rabble around the pool, his thoughts were stuck on that one boy; the Blue Team has added a new member to their ranks which makes it a bit harder to predict them.

When he looks into his phone, he opens up a hidden file with a few perfect shots of Berecca. How he got them was a mystery, but seeing her cheerful face makes him red every time with a subtle smile. "Brother?" As Prince calls out to Emperor, he immediately shuts off his phone, putting it down and answering his younger ward. In the reflection of the phone is a moonlit rooftop, with Ron watching above and observing the new races that took over the world. He's been quite busy as of late since his awakening, scouting and rallying the few ninja still loyal to the WNA. One of them being Jane, the master hacker of data mining into many systems back in the era of mankind. She's been trying to understand the language of this new world, but with the help of the New Lingo Shinobi Card she's able to decipher the technology of this age with ease.

"So, what do we have in this new age?" Ron asks as he gazes at the horizon of Goby Town.

"As far as we already know, this world is taken over by a race of sea creatures who've now evolved to walk on land. But the most dominant of them are two distinct races: the Inklings and the Octolings."

"Obviously. What about the scouts? Have they spotted Allen or even Leonard for that matter?" Ron refers to Allen, one of the WNA's leaders and the one who's trying to kill him in the past, and Leonard, another WNA Intelligence Officer who was associated with Dr. Sean: Berecca and Auburn's father. 

"Not yet." She answers by pulling up some screenshots of Allen and Leonard who have taken on the forms of young ninja, just like them before the end of their world. Allen took up that younger form after eating the Ninja Gum that his subordinates stole from Burton's research thanks to Ron working under him once, and Leonard had to be in the shadows and away from Allen's eyes. "I still can't believe that old cougar's still alive, even after the war."

"Don't forget that he has some connection with those Space Ninjas." As he notes, Jane pulls up some hard evidence from her laptop about Allen's secret laboratory working on new variations of the alien gum species, and unleashing them onto the city in the shadows. "He's probably gonna stir up some trouble again. Don't know how or when, but he'll still thirst for power." As Jane points it out, Ron still remembers that Allen never blew his cover as he gained the guise of being his own grandson as he attended WNA. He had suspicions about him from the start. Noting that his sudden disappearance after being accused by the rest of the heads of the WNA. But when it came to the Ninja War, he vanished like a coward and waited in the shadows like a real ninja. It was also made evident that he also rallied some allies around the Awakening, along with Leonard being part of this debacle.

"How can you be so sure about that? Was he caught in the fight with us?"

"Before the last monster fell, I found one of his own personal ninja and had Lucy choke him for info." Ron recalls the last moment before the end of the Ninja War, he spots Allen running away from the battlefield in the city and runs off with a few of his subordinates. He attacked one of them before he vanished, and all he told was that his master will see him again, until Ron offed the ninja. "He must have had his own Regen Tank somewhere else in the city, probably provided for each of the WNA Founding Members."
