Kid or Squid: Splatoon Meets Ninjala

The Ninja Return

Back at the command post at Octo Canyon, Callie choked the living life out of Octavio for controlling her and single handedly killing Agent 4. "You murderer!! I'll turn you into calamari after I'm done with you!!" Said Callie as she was rattling Octavio like a rubber chicken. 

"Callie stop! It's not worth it!" Said Marie as she tried to pry her away from him before he died of abuse. "Everything's gonna be fine, Agents 3 and 7 are looking for him as we speak, okay?" 

"No! He's done too much already!! Lemme at him!!!" As Callie screamed and flailed at the menacing Octavio, Marie had to restrain her from doing any more damage than good.

"Girls, knock it off already." Captain Cuttlefish demanded as he already contained Octavio in a reinforced snow globe, "He won't be going anywhere anytime soon. And Callie, stop bein' a dummy!" He demanded as bonked her on the head with his Bamboozler cane, which she finally calmed down as Marie slowly let her go. "You know for a fact that's not what we do here anymore. Taking lives is in the past, all we can do is wait, I'm sure that.....😕 What are you two looking at?" He asks out of frustration. 

The two Squid Sisters were distracted by the giant red bubble slowly rising from the abyss beneath the openings of the Tentakeel Outpost right in the back of their grandpa. The size was so big it overshadowed nearly all of the training grounds, making Callie drop to her knees, Marie dropping her umbrella, and Octavio inking himself. The enormous bubble rises further into the sky floating right above their base, scaring everyone to brace themselves for a gooey surprise. Upon exploding, the bubble dissipated into energy particles dropping Agent 4 in front of them with his new companion over his shoulder. Pink tears came to Callie's eyes seeing that her savior survived, forcing the urge to jump onto him and giving him a big hug full of joy and relief, that is until Marie stopped her again by grabbing the neck collar. 

"Callie, hold on! You're gonna hurt Agent 4. He's already in bad shape as he is, and he has someone with him." Marie dropped Callie on the floor as she was about to inspect them first. "Think before you even leap sis." Agent 4 lays his new friend down on the floor, giving him some space to breathe. The boy was sleeping once more, this time it was outside of his frozen coffin in that lab. Yet when Marie felt his forehead, he was burning up indicating that he had a fever. Agent 4 exclaims that it was probably from the time he was fighting the monster in the abyss where he was and overexerted himself to the limit. He was amazed at his fighting skills and the use of his unknown powers and weaponry.  

Over the night, they let the boy rest in Cuttlefish's hut as Agent 4 gave his full report to the Captain and Sheldon. Captain Cuttlefish did confess to going down there many years ago in his youth. This was where and when he found Judd and another container, it wouldn't open for them so he had to carry it back to the surface trying to figure how to open it. He's completely forgotten about it until now. This took many a decade to figure out for Sheldon's father, that is until two years ago, when the timer on it was set off he found his seventh agent. Come to think of it, he's never mentioned about the other agents 5 through 8. This was a first for him to actually think about the rest of the Squidbeak Splatoon members. 

The report of the giant monster was news to Cuttlefish though, for he didn't see anything else other than the tower and the old gum structures. Agent 4 asked the Captain about this Agent 7 he mentioned earlier, but Sheldon clarified that their identities were to be kept a secret. Though he could already guess that this member was just like his friend who's resting on Marie's lap. He wanted to know more about what happened down there in that dead city. His two superiors gave nothing but what they know and what Cuttlefish could identify to the best of his memories, if any... All the while, Marie was stroking his head feeling the strange red matter on his head which she assumes to be hair. It felt enjoyable, just like when she met Agent 7 and her pink swirling hair. She wondered if he had any connection to her. Before she got lost in thought, he coughed and shivered making urging her to cover him with a blanket and settling his head down on a pillow letting him rest for the night.

Back down at the WNA Tower, the building's power comes to life once more only for the top most section. The topmost floor to be powered was an executive's monitor room, which was intruded by the last person to have awoken. The young man was known as Ron, one of the scientists who supposedly created the Ninja Gum on paper. He was both a student at the WNA and their researcher of the Ninja Gum until certain events led to him being cryogenically frozen. Once he'd gain access to the main console and input the passwords, a holographic screen shows the entire map of the building and the structural status. Floors 53 to 87 did not look good, but his main focus was in the lower levels of Basement 1 to 5. 

It showed the presence of multiple cryogenic chambers of 30, each one bearing different names and Ninja Ranks. Ron inputs a command code to activate all of them and one more within the 75th Floor. The last one was called Jane, an ally of Ron's and one of WNA's best Ninjas in both combat and hacking. Underneath the tower, a large dark room begins to light up and deactivate the hibernation sequences in all of them. What came out were other young ninja both dreary eyed and lethargic, though some of them had different styles of clothing while the rest of them wore an outfit similar to the red haired child but were wearing black caps with a black face veil decorated with a red X on it.
