Kid or Squid: Splatoon Meets Ninjala

After much deliberation for today's battle between Teams Blue and Costume Lovers, Judd had to make it unanimous. "Team Blues Wins! For now..." The team cheered for a bit and was a bit confused on the last part. "I'll let this slide for now, mostly because that kid right there didn't use Ammo Knight certified weapons and did not meet up to regulation. But I can tell it's his first time and I'm always a forgiving cat to first timers. But make sure you get a weapon next time, alright?" They all promised for the next Turf War, even though it was mostly both Goggles and Auburn's fault.

"You know what? I can't let you be a leader anymore." Specs announced.
"What!? Why?!" Goggles said
"Because you dragged a total stranger into a match without fully knowing what he is or what he's capable of!!"
"But he helped us win the match, right?"
"That doesn't matter to you , Blockhead!!! We could've been disqualified for breaking the rules!!" Specs argued with Goggles about letting him become team leader in the first place and today's outcome. Headphones were too tired to deal with any of this and Bobble Hat slides back into the group with food that might be cold by now.

For Auburn, that was the most fun he had in... Well, centuries. This wasn't like Ninjala, but it was a close second. Before he could reminisce about his time during the World Ninja Association's biggest event Ninjala, Squinja taps his shoulder to get his attention. All of Team Costume Lovers was in attendance and bowed to him. "My apologies to you, newcomer." He said in Japanese. "I can see now you care more about the Ancients in your ink more than I do, and parading around like this is disrespectful towards you."

"Well uhh... Thanks. And I'm sorry that I was being rough with you guys." Auburn gratefully apologizes. "But how do you know Japanese?"
"Is that what this language is called? I've studied the role for quite some time now and I just call it Nihonjin."

While they were talking, the knight walks behind him and pulls down his hoodie out of curiosity- showing them his true face. The Costume Lovers gasped at his appearance while Team Blue heard the commotion. His oval ears, his shadowless eyes, his teeth, and his spiky namesake hair, it was all exposed. "Oh Carp!!" The blue team tries to reach it for him, but is quickly swept away in a second in a sweet scented smokescreen. Whatever it was, it knocked over the knight and spun the entire team causing a knockout. "Auburn!?"

The blur raced off into the closed off subway entrance to the Deepsea Metro with Auburn in her arms. The two tripped upon stopping and stumbled on the old grounds of the station. Though a bit disorientated, the boy stood himself up just to see his kidnapper. It was none other than Agent 3, who was tasked to keep him out of the public eye. Then out of nowhere she outright spoke in gurgled English, "What were you thinking!?" That came as a shock to his systems, again! Out of all the inklings except for Squinja, she could speak human.

"What the!? You can speak human?" Auburn asks, wanting to know how she could speak a human language even though it was still a bit gurgly.

"Yes, for a while now... But that's not the case here!" In most of her speeches, Agent 3's less spoken and more action. She informs him that she and Agent 4 were sent out to look for him so that he wouldn't cause a panic. "Why in the world did you run off like that?! You could've made a mess of everything-"

"I was scared!! What was I supposed to do!?" Auburn's scream echoed through all of the empty tunnels of the metro, showing that all of his actions so far were propelled by utter confusion and impulse. "I didn't know what to do, I had nowhere to go, and now I'm stuck and alone in a world full of tentacled FREAKS!!!" After that last outburst, he was about to break down again with leaking tears. Being with those inklings did help him cope with the fact that he was all alone, but that wasn't enough to help him. "How- How would you feel if you're home was taken away, your time, and your family- gone!"
