I get to History and Jasper is there.

"Hey Liz." Jasper says.

"Don't call me Liz. What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I'm sorry. I was moved to advanced History because I was too good for regular history." Jasper says. He laughs a little.

"Everyone, please take your seats!" The teacher says.

I sit down and Jasper takes the seat next to me.

"You are going to do a project about your history. You need a partner." The teacher says. He hands out a packet of papers.

"You wanna be partners?" Jasper asks.

"Sure whatever." I say.

The problem is, I don't know much about myself growing up. I only have the dreams that I keep having.

After class, I head to my next class and my next class. I finally get to lunch.

I sit down and start eating.

"Hey Beth." Jasper says. He sits down across from me.

"Don't call me Beth. What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I wanted to talk about our project." Jasper says.

"Why you?" I ask.

"I don't seem to understand what you are asking." Jasper says.

"Every other person that I have met has payed no attention to me and all of the sudden, here you are." I say.

"Listen, you remind me of someone. I just can't figure out who." Jasper says.

"What am I? Your long lost sister?" I joke.

"Maybe." Jasper says. "I had a sister a long time ago. She passed away."

"Oh, I'm sorry." I say. I can't believe I am talking to an actual vampire who isn't trying to kill me. I know that doctor guy was a vampire too. That's why I wanted to get out of there.

I've never liked hospitals. Most of the things I remember from my childhood is a hospital. That is the only thing that I remember. And when the vampire lady experimented on me more than 150 years ago, I was experimented on in a hospital-like area.

"So, what is your history like?" Jasper asks.

"It's kind of complicated." I say. "I don't remember my childhood."

"I remember all of my childhood, I just never remembered having a father, I remember my mother, she was the best. Then, my sister died and my mother stayed strong with me." Jasper says.

"Wow, she sounded amazing." I say.

The Emmett kid walks over and whispers something into Jaspers ear. I listen to him.

"Why are you talking to her? Carlisle said that she could be dangerous." Emmett whispers.

"I think she's really nice, whatever sort of vampire things she is." Jasper says.

"It's kinda complicated." I whisper.

They both look at me with surprise.

"We should talk about this after school." I say.

"Y-yeah." Emmett says.

The bell rings and I walk to my next class.

After that, I head to biology. I walk in and take my seat. Jasper walks in and sits next to me.

"Hey Eliza." Jasper says.

"Stop it with the nicknames. I hate them." I say.

"Ok, I'm sorry." Jasper says.

"I only have one nickname." I say. "I remember it from a dream. I prefer not to say it though."

"Interesting." Jasper says.

I whisper. "Do you and your vampire friends want to hurt me?"

"What? Of course not." Jasper whispers.

"Ok." I whisper.

After class, I follow Jasper to his family in the parking lot.

"Hey vamps." I say.

"Do you want to meet at our house?" Emmett asks.

"Yeah sure." I say. "I'll go grab my bike and follow you guys."
