ERIC'S POV:

Philadelphia, June 17, 1985

"Wake up. Eric."

I heard Lori's voice echo.

"Mmm?"

I was still way too tired from last night's show.

"Time to get up. You got work."

My eyes shot open at the mention of work.

"Shit. What time is it?"

I asked, looking up at Lori, my wife, hovering over me.

"7:15."

"Crap, I'm going to be late again."

I said before getting out of bed.

"Thanks for waking me up, again."

She smiled before giving me a quick kiss.

"Of course, now get ready. Tom is picking you up in 30."

"All right."

Lori turned around to leave, but I softly smacked her ass before she did.

"Hands to yourself, Eric."

I hugged her from behind.

"Make me."

I said as I cuddled up, holding her.

"I love you."

I said softly with a smile on my face.

"I love you too."

I gave her a quick peck on her cheek before letting her go so I could get ready.

I went over to my dresser and grabbed a fresh pair of blue jeans, a random black band shirt, and some socks.

My car broke down a few days ago. I have not had much time to fix it and do not have much money right now, so since Tom and I both work at the same place doing the same thing, delivering the film to developing outlets, he has been driving me to and from work.

"Breakfast is on the table!"

I heard Lori shout from the kitchen.

I quickly pulled on my sneakers and ran down the hall to the kitchen.

"Here."

She handed me a bowl of oatmeal.

"Oatmeal?"

"Small, but it will fill you up, I promise."

"All right, if you say so."

I said before quickly eating some of it.

"Mmm, this is some good stuff, sweetheart."

"Thanks. All right, I better get going, or I'm going to be late for my job."

"Right, right. You take care all right."

"You too."

She gave me a quick peck on my cheek before leaving.

After quickly eating, I ran around the house, getting ready for work.

I was brushing my teeth when I heard a honk.

"Oh shit."

I spat out the toothpaste before washing my mouth.

I quickly looked out the window and saw Tom's car out in the driveway. I brushed out my blond hair one last time before getting my keys and wallet.

When I stepped outside, I waved at Tom before closing the door.

"Hey Tom, thanks again."

I said as I got into the passenger seat in his car.
