Fred's POV:
June 16, 1990, Philadelphia
"I'm getting kind of hungry,"
I said as I turned to look at Eric, who closed the door behind him.
We just came back home. We hung out with the guys for a bit before coming back.
"Me too."
"Baba. Tired."
Christopher said as I held him in my arms.
"Aw, come on, buddy. Let's get you to bed, huh?"
He simply nodded.
"I'll be back."
"Ok. How does P-I-Z-Z-A sound?"
Eric asked, spelling the word, pizza.
"Great!"
Christopher loves pizza. So ever since we found that out. Eric and I have found ourselves having small dates at midnight and eating pizza. Which I absolutely love. It's our time and I love it.
I walked off and made my way over to Christopher's room.
"Baba?"
"Yeah, buddy?"
"Baby?"
"Yeah. There's a baby inside my tummy."
"Woah."
"Yeah, I know. Woah."
I chuckled.
He yawned a little.
I set him on the bed, where he sat up.
"Alright, bud. Arms up."
He smiled and lifted his arms.
I pulled his shirt off and threw it in the laundry basket we had in the room.
I went and grabbed another shirt so he would be more comfortable.
"Here we go."
I said as I got closer.
"Head goes through here. One more goes through this hole, and the other goes through the other hole."
"Yay!"
Christopher said excitedly.
I smiled.
"You want to take off those shorts?"
He nodded.
"Ok."
I helped him stand up on the bed as I undid the button, then the zipper.
I pulled.
I checked his diaper just in case.
Eric and I are still working on getting him potty trained.
"Alright, bud. Get some sleep, ok?"
I set him down on the bed.
He nodded.
I pulled the covers over him and kissed his cheek softly.
"Love you."
He smiled at me.
I made sure his little night light was on and turned the light off.
Even though it was like 2 p.m., he still feared the dark. Which I don't judge. I still get a little uneasy about the dark.
I closed the door and walked back to the living room.
"He's asleep?"
"Yep. Just put him down."
