TW: abuse offence and homophobic/transphobic language.

Parrish arived at the station with Gabes mother and immediately brought her into the sheriffs office.
"Stiles? What are you doing here?"
"Practice deputy run." Parrish nodded and started explaining why she was here.
"Harassment to a recently released patient. Using offensive homophobic and transphobic language. Name Maria Moore."

"The patient is on their way yes?" Sheriff asked. Parrish nodded, just then the door to the station opened. Then there was a knock on the office door. Parrish opened it. Nolan and Gabe looked shocked.
"Stiles? Why- what are- when- I thought you were in Virginia. You and Scott said you were coming back in the holidays." Gabe spoke up Nolan still stood frozen. He would have to explain infront of one of his friends and he was terrified.

"Practice deputy run. Nolan are you okay?" Stiles asked noticing the tears on the young boys face. Nolan nodded in response.
"Gabe, tell them I did nothing wrong please I shouldn't be here. She should be being questioned not me."
"No you should be exactly where you are. And he has done nothing wrong to you or anyone else."

Gabe and Nolan took a seat infront of the desk. And then sheriff started asking questions.
"When did the incident take place?"
"9:27 am." Gabe answered.
"What was the problem." Nolan took a deep breath. Preparing himself.
"She used a deadname and incorrect pronouns on someone and refused to let them get in their car and leave." Parrish answered.
"Who is this person?" Sheriff questioned making notes.

"It was me." Nolan said. His leg was bouncing and Gabe was holding on to his hands to stop him picking at the skin on his fingers. Stiles' face covered with shock and confusion.
"What sorts of things did she say?" Sheriff asked.
"She.. kept calling me my dead name. Nadia. And when I asked her to stop she didn't. She kept using she/her on me. She called being trans and gay a desease." His voice cracked while speaking. He was trying to hold back his tears but failed.

"Is that how you recall it?" Sheriff turned to Maria.
"Yes but she-" sheriff cut her off.
"No. Yes or no is that how you recall it."
"Yes. But she di-"
"I don't need anymore than a yes or a no. Is that how you recall the incident?"
"Yes." She admitted.

"What lead up to this?" Stiles asked.
"My mother signed some paperwork to release me from the hospital and she tried to drag me to the car. I told her I wasn't going. I said I wouldn't be going back to that house and I'm going home. Then she left and when Nol and I walked out she was stood in front of his car and she wouldn't let us leave." Gabe answered.

"My friend Kara was there I haven't seen her in years so she used Nadia on me. I told her I changed it and considering it had been five minutes she accidentally slipped up and called me Nadia when saying goodbye. She corrected quickly but I think Maria heard it. And she didn't want Gabe hanging around me anymore. So she tried to stop us leaving." Nolan continued.

"Okay thank you boys. Stay here for a moment. Parrish. A word please." Sheriff spoke up after a moment of silence. Parrish nodded and they walked out of the room. Stiles remained with the other three.
"Nolan are you sure your okay? It looks like you have something on your mind. Something else that is."
"Hmm? Yeah I'm fine I can't really say right now. Theo and Liam are on their way I need to tell them something. I would tell you but she's here." Stiles nodded in understanding.

"What the hell os that supposed to mean?" Maria asked defensively.
"That it's none of your business." Gabe spat. The phone rang and sheriff shouted at stiles to pick up.

"Beacon hills sheriffs department."
"Hello this is California prison."
"How can we help you?"
"We have a prisoner being released soon back into beacon hills. We need an escort from our location to beacon hills."
"Of course. What's the date this is needed?"
"Sixteenth of June."
"Okay, and what's the name?"
"Simon Holloway."

"Did he just say Holloway?" Nolan whispered more to himself than anyone else.

"Okay and address to release him to?"
"56 Atlantic road."
"Okay. Any living relatives?"
"Becky Holloway, wife. and Nadia Holloway, daughter."
"Okay thank you. I'll pass this to the sheriff when he returns."
"Thank you."

Stiles hung up the call. And went outside to give his dad the notes. The phone had been on speaker so everyone in the room had heard it.
"He just said-" Gabe started.
"My dad is being released." Nolan had a look of horror on his face.

His mom and dad argued but his father got violent sometimes. Often he came back drunk and would hit his mom. Sometimes even Nolan. He was given 12 years jail time. This would not end well. Not at all. It was now the 12th of June. Nolan father would be returning home in four days.

Just then Theo and Liam walked through the door. They smelt the fear and worry from outside.
"Are you guys okay?" Harlow ran over to Nolan and gave him a hug knowing he was upset.
"Dad's said your sad. What happened?" She asked the boy.
"It's nothing Harlow. I'm okay." His leg was still bouncing. She knew he was lying. But she also knew she needed to leave him alone.

She gave him another hug before walking back over to Liam who picked her up.
"What did you need to say?"
"Are you sure? She's still here." Gabe asked pointing to his mom. Liam nodded so Nolan started talking.

"You aren't going to be safe for much longer. They are getting stronger. And they are going to attack."
"When?" Theo asked the boy.
"Tomorrow night. I know it sound impossible but they are stronger than you guys. I know you are meant to be the most powerful creatures but they are stronger and more skilled than you. Even you Theo."

"That's not good."
