Harlows room now lingered of regret and pain. Aswell as grief and happiness. And of course life and death, but that was much stronger. Like two people. Both of which were dead. They just needed to find out who the other person was. That was going to be the most difficult part.

There was a knock on the door downstairs. Theo left the room hesitantly. Liam was already opening the front door. Out side stood Ethan. He looked worried and scared.
"Ethan? Are you okay?" Liam asked wanting to help.
"I... feel my brother. He died. And I feel him again like I did. Im only here because I hear something was going on about Allison. They died a day apart. And I just need to know what's going on."

Something clicked in Theo's head.
"What did your brother feel when he died? Like what emotions?"
"I don't know. Maybe regret. We wanted to be in the pack but Scott could never trust us. I know he regretted it a lot. Pain. Not physically but he was emotionally pained. Why?"

Theo stood and thought for a moment trying to put the pieces together.
"Harlows room smells like life and death. Happiness and grief, which we identified Allison. And now there regret and pain, which I'm guessing is Aiden."
"Can I check? We have a thing where we can smell the other. Not like how werewolves can. It's different we can literally smell their presence no matter how long ago." The two boys nodded and Ethan followed them upstairs in to the young girls room.

He stood there taking in all of the scents and sounds.
"He was here." Theo began to realise something.
"Why are they coming here? Why not anywhere else?"
"And when? I've been home almost all day and when I wasn't my mom was. We would notice them any other time." Liam added on.

"There's something else." Ethan said picking up on another scent. The two boys looked at him expectantly.
"A need of revenge." This couldn't be good.
"Pack meeting?" Theo asked Liam. Knowing something.
"Pack meeting." Liam agreed. Also knowing the same thing.

Liam messaged the puppy pack gc. Kira Isaac and Deaton. They al arrived within 10 minutes. Then they could start. Mason Corey Nolan and Gabe were sat on the couch facing the tv. Isaac on the arm chair. Kira on the floor beside him. Deaton was stood looking out the window. Tara Harper Alessia Bea and alec were on the other couch. Ethan stood behind them. Harlow was sat on the floor reading one of her book. Liam and Theo stood against the wall beside the tv.

"We have a problem. About the dead ofcourse." Theo started.
"We already know about Allison. But we think Ethan is back aswell. That's not all..." Liam continued.
"There's scents of the two roaming harlows room. We don't know why only there but it's no where else. And there's also the scent of revenge." Theo started again. The pack started thinking before Isaac said something.

"If they both feel it wouldn't it be revenge on the Oni or void. That's what killed them."
"It's not that. We have a theory. We have a few theory's."
"The first is revenge against the pack. I know that seems obnoxious but a dead person could have their views warped. The second is Ethan wants revenge on his old pack and Alison on her grandfather."

Masons eyes looked of realisation.
"What if it's on something else. Something that hurt the pack. After they died."
"Mas, what are you getting at?" Corey asked his boyfriend.
"I mean, the other side must have got disconnected in some way when we stopped the wolf hunt. Not completely just enough to break from reality. So what's the thing from right before the wolf hunt that they could have seen?"

Theo's eyes filled with regret and hurt.
"Me."
"Harlow and Liam are the only ones aside from your family that you've had a proper connection with since you got out of hell. And since Liam is. Part of the pack they aren't going after him. It could mean something. It could also mean they are in danger. Again." Mason looked at the girl on the floor with sorry full eyes. She was too young for this.

"That's why they are targeting her. Because she's just a kid. She can't defend her self like we can." Liam added on to masons theory.
"It's just a theory but it explains a lot more than the other two."
"נַקמָנִי." Deaton spoke from the window.
"It's hewbrew. Meaning vengeful. Some revive on an anniversary of something for revenge on said person. Theo. A year ago today you were released from hell. Meaning they've been back for a while. About eight months. And they've just been waking up. Or getting used to being alive again without looking for anyone."

Everyone knew this was bad. Bea was getting overwhelmed with everyone's emotions. All of them were scared. If they had been getting stronger for eight months who knew what strength they were at now. Allison could have been practicing to fight. Ethan controlling his shift again. They could be doing anything. And none of them knew.

The sun was still high in the sky. It was about 7pm jow. It was also warm outside. Kids screaming and laughing up and down the street echoes off the houses. The sound of dogs barking. People running. Bikes squeaking. Parents laughing over drinks. Barbecues sizzling. All completely unaware of the devastating new the pack had just received.

"We should call Scott." Kira announced.
"No." Liam shut her suggestion down quickly.
"Why not? We might need him." Isaac added in.
"He just got back to college. We can handle it ourselves. He's a last resort."
"Liam.., I know you feel like you need to pro-" Theo was cut off quickly.
"I don't feel like I need to prove anything. I do need to prove it. I NEED to show Scott I can do it without him. That I'm not completely useless. I was given this. And I want to show I can do it."

"Liam." Mason tried to reason with the boy but he wouldn't listen.
"No mason. Everyone else has proved their usefulness. I have this grand titles but I don't live up to them like I should. I was his first proper beta. The only other one being Hayden who left. And I have other titles which I don't deserve. I'm a kid with anger issues who only got this because he needed to be saved. I wasn't to show I'm worth it. All the trouble they went through for me."

"Liam. Scott knows your worth it. At 15 you were on a deadpool and went to Mexico to fight a werejaguar. Then you had to help you best friend from killing people. You saved Corey and everyone else from the wolf hunt. You saved Nolan and gabe. You helped stop the hunters. Then just a few months ago, you saved the world. You saved harper Tara Harlow Parrish the sheriff. You saved me. You are worth it. And everyone knows it. Hell you climbed out of a well after being stabbed with yellow wolfsbane. I don't know anyone else that could have done that. Your anger makes you strong. But it shouldn't make your decision for you. So we call scott. Wether he comes is his choice." After Theo's speech to liam. The younger boy only gave a small understanding nod.

Isaac got up to call Scott and inform him of what was going on. There was a crash upstairs. Theo and Liam started running. The pack slowly after. They immediately went into harlows room. A picture frame lay smashed on the floor. And on her wall wrote.

We are coming for you. You deserve it.
