True anchors

"So your telling me that you are a werewolf." Mike looked at liam. The boy looks at the ground nervous of the reaction to come.
"And your friend Scott turned you. He's the alpha. You were hanging off the hospital roof after a... wendigo? Tried to kill you. And you fought bezerkers being controlled by Scott's dead girlfriends aunt. And you..?"
He looked at Theo accusingly.

"I'm a chimera. A genetically modified supernatural being."
"You manipulated the pack and got Liam to try and kill Scott and when he failed you killed him. Then they put you in hell. Then liam took you out of hell to fight ghost riders that were taking people in beacon hills. Then there was the hunters and the aku-nite."

Theo looked awkward at the start of that. And reaks of guilt. Liam had a look of uncertainty on his face. One where he couldn't decide if his dad was just going to move on like normal or go raging about it causing bigger problems.

They sat in silence for 5 minutes before a call came through on Liams phone.

Scott calling.

Liam looks at Theo and the boy responds with a nod before the younger went and took the call.

Sc: "hey I'm about 20 minutes out."

Ma: "HI LIAM."

Sc: "Malias here aswell. Stiles and Lydia should be here in the next 2 hours. Where are you?"

Li: "I'm at my house my dads here though. He also knows. About everything. I had to tell him he had questions so I answered them. I don't know how he has reacted yet. You called me first."

Sc: "okay we will be round soon. Bye."

Li: "bye"

Ma: "BYE LIAM."

Liam giggled before Scott hung up the call. He walked back downstairs to where his mum dad and Theo sat. He knew the older boy had heard the conversation that had happened. Theo had a look on his face. Worried almost.

"Hey should I go before.." Liam didn't let him finish.
"No you can stay if you want if scoot has a problem it's for him to deal with. However we should probably call mason to make sure he doesn't slip up to stiles or Malia."

Theo nodded and his dad looked confused. Lisa walked to the kitchen to prepare food for when Scott and malia got here. She knew them well and also knew they were coming from Washington so they were bound to be hungry even if they had had some snacks.

"Liam I still don't understand. If you had problems with your anger then turned into a werewolf wouldn't that make them worse or more dangerous?"
Liam thought for a moment before responding.

"Yes. It got harder to control but it also gave me a reason to gain control. If I didn't I would hurt someone or get my self hurt. Also as a werewolf most of them get what's called an anchor for some it's easy to find others it's not and for a few they don't even need one. It's something or someone to ground your human side from the animal side."

Liams dad nodded along before looking back at liam.
"So who's your anchor?" Shit. Liam didn't know. Or maybe he did and he just didn't want to admit it.
"Well I have a few I guess. Mom and mason mainly. They are both human so I don't want to hurt them."

He hated lying he was terrible at it. And he also knew Theo could here his heart beat. He looked at Theo shaking his head a little but not enough for his dad to notice.
