Today is the big day for Paradise Horizon clinic. It's the opening day and I am beyond thrilled. I can't wait to help people and let them know that we aren't gonna hound them or question them that they have privacy here. and don't have to fret about cops coming to interrogate them.
I stood before the doors with my staff and smiled at everyone who had shown up.
"GOOD MORNING EVERYONE.THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING TO THIS OPENING. I WANT YOU ALL TO KNOW THAT THIS PLACE IS ONE WHERE EVERYONE IS WELCOME. WE DONT HOUND YOU ON WHAT HAPPENED RESULTING IN YOUR INJURIES OR REASON FOR VISIT. WE JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOUR INJURY IS SO WE CAN GO ABOUT TENDING TO YOU. THOSE WHO AREN'T INSURED WE OFF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND PAY AS YOU GO." I say loudly enough for all to hear me.
They all clapped and nodded their heads.
"NOW WITH OUT FURTHER A DUE WELCOME TO PARADISE HORIZON CLINIC" I say before I turned and walked through the doors with my staff following suit and everyone who showed up following in behind them.
"As you all can see this place has been upgraded from the company who had this building last. so I assure you that nothing is faulty and everything is in proper working order" I explain
I continued to walk them all through the place letting them see what all was available and everything else before leading them all back to the entrance where I had some food catered.
"Please help yourselves to the food and drinks," I say gesturing to it.
once everyone split ways I stepped back and just took it all in. and hoped beyond anything that this place wasn't gonna fall.
"Hello. I'm John Teller" a genlet man with shoulder length brunette hair says as he and a blonde as well las a few other men approached me.
"Hello I'm Raina or Dr.Dozier" I replied sticking my hand out to shake his.
he smiled and shook my hand.
"Welcome to charming," he says
"thank you" I replied
"can you tell me more about this place?" he asked
"you mean like what the catch to it all is?" I asked
he nodded his head
"I've always wanted to help people and I knew that in order to do that I didn't need to be nosy like those at the hospital who want to know practically everything about you regardless of it having to do with your visit or not. I don't want patients coming here thinking whatever is said here will be reported to cops. I know that there are dangerous things happening just outside the door. I mean it's the real world nothing is all sunshine and rainbows no harm no death, no blood spilled. so with that in mind, I know that people will need a place where they can come and be tended to with no personal questions about what happened. just their wounds and injuries tended to. " I replied
"Well I own the property across from you so I'm sure we'll be seeing quite a lot of each other" John says
"oh, I'm sure. I mean I know there are injuries with working on cars. and ride motorcycles. so I'm certain one of those ordeals will happen and you all will be walking through these clinic doors needed aid. and my staff will not file any police report or anything. just take care of you before sending you on your way. just like we will everyone else" I tell him
He smiled while nodding.
"it was a pleasure meeting you," he says
"you as well" I replied with a smile
"take care," he says
"you all be safe out there," I replied
they all nodded before walking out the door.
I walked around and talked as well as answered questions for everyone.
