It was a slow day at the 118, only had a few calls. Everyone was off doing they're own thing. Cap was cooking dinner. Chim was upstairs reading a parenting book. Hen was in the lockers getting some quiet while she studied. Buck was working out, and Eddie.. Well he was "supposed" to be washing the fire truck.. But instead was doing something else or really "watching someone else

𝘌𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘦'𝘴 𝘗𝘖𝘝:
It's so quiet, why did I have to volunteer to clean the fire truck. I roll my eyes. I see buck out of the corner of my eye, working out. I try to look away but somehow I can't. The way his sweat makes his muscles stand out, his body, his face. God he's hot. I blush.

Snap out of it Eddie! He's your best friend. You cant have these thoughts. But maybe he's more than a friend?.. This is confusing.

DINNER'S READY!, Bobby yells. Which  snaps Eddie out of his thoughts.

Hen, Eddie, and buck go upstairs and sit down to eat dinner.

Buck sits down and Eddie (who usually sits right next to buck) sits down at the end of the table.

Buck looks confused but doesn't think much of it. And everyone starts digging in to eat.

They all finish up they're shifts and start heading home.

Bye cap! Hen say's.

Bye hen! Have a great night! Bobby replied.

I'm heading out too, so cya! Chim say's.

Bye! Bobby, buck, and Eddie reply.

Then Bobby left too. Leaving just buck and Eddie left.

Buck starts packing up his things in his bag, and Eddie of course watching him, and admiring how hot buck is. And he blushes.

Eddie being embarrassed, starts heading out to his car before buck can even turn around and say goodbye.

Buck then finishes packing, and turns around to say goodbye. But notices Eddie leaving without even saying bye. Which leaves buck a little upset wondering if he did something wrong.

Buck then heads to his car to go home.

Why didnt Eddie say goodbye? I noticed he didn't sit next to me at dinner, which was fine. But him saying leaving without saying goodbye isn't like him. Did I do something?

(Buck remembers that he saw Eddie watching him workout)

Is that why he hasn't said a word to me the rest of the day? If only he knew..
