Buck was at his apartment when all of a sudden he heard a knock at his door. He was confused because he didnt invite anyone so who could be knocking?

Buck goes and opens the door and see's Eddie standing there. Buck moves out of the way to let him in.

Hey Eddie, what are you doing here? Buck said smiling.

Evan.. I- I have something I need to tell you and i-it can't wait any longer...  Eddie said nervously.

Okay what is it ed's? Just after buck asked that bucks phone went off as he was getting a call from Bobby.

Hold on, cap is calling me. Buck said.

Eddie just looked down to not seem awkward.

Hey cap! What's up? Said buck.

Hey buck, can you come in to work for a few hours? I know it's your day off, but Ravi is busy with something and can't make it in till a few hours.

Sure thing! Buck said a little annoyed but wanting to help out.

Thanks buck! See you soon! Bobby said then hung up.

Buck put is phone in his pocket and turned to look at Eddie.

Eddie looked back at buck, who was looking at him.

Hey so uhm- cap asked me if I could come in to work for a few just until Ravi can come in. So can we continue this conversation when I get off? Buck asked feeling a bit bad that he had to stop Eddie in whatever he was gonna tell him.

Sure thing. It uh- it wasnt important anyways. Eddie said disappointed.

Are you sure? Buck now said. But concerned because he could tell something was up.

"Mhm" Eddie replied.

Okay... Buck said not convinced at all. Well I should be back in a few hours, if you want you can chill at my place or I can meet you at yours?

"I'll wait here" Eddie said.

Okay, well see you soon ed's! Buck said smiling while also being worried about his best friend. And feeling bad he had to leave him.

Buck than went upstairs to change into his uniform and left.

Once he got in the car he just started thinking to himself.

God I feel horrible that I had to just leave him behind. What kind of friend does that? I'm such a terrible friend he probably hates me now. I wish I could just hug him and kiss him and tell him how much I love him. But I doubt he loves me back, I mean come on. He clearly only see's me as a friend.

Buck than snapped out of his thoughts as he was pulling up to the fire station. But before he went in, he let out a sad sigh. Then he got out and went inside.

He headed upstairs when he saw cap was setting out food (because it was lunch) and saw that hen and chim were there.

Hey buckaroo! Hen said smiling.

Hey hen! How are you? Buck replied.

I'm great! You? She said very soon after buck asked.

Uhm I'm okay.. I guess... He replied.

Hen, looking concerned now. Okay you guess? What's wrong? she asked.

It's... It's complicated.. And I feel like if I told you, you would hate me after. He said a little bit sad.

Evan, we could never hate you! Chim stated.

Buck, we love you. And you are our family. Nothing you could say or do would make us ever stop loving you. Bobby said, now joining into the conversation.

Promise?... Buck then asked nervously.

Okay... Well.. Buck said, then sat down. And the rest of them joining in.

Well... I was at home just chilling out and Eddie knocked on my door. So of course I let him in.. But he didn't seem like himself.. He.. He was nervous or something. He told me he needed to tell me something and it couldn't wait.

But then I was asked to come here and of course I would. I mean I wouldn't say no. But I felt really bad that I couldn't let him finish before leaving. Once I told him, he just looked really sad. I felt and still feel really bad... But uhm.. I don't know how to tell you this next part..

They all just stared at buck worried, and confused. And just told buck that whatever it was, that it will be okay. That they will still love him.

Buck then takes a deep breath and says well uhm...

In that moment I uh- I wanted to uhm.. Kiss him.. I didn't but I wanted to.. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I.. I love Eddie. Like I'm in-love with him... Buck then looks down afraid of the outcome of him telling them.

They all end up smiling before bursting into laughter.

Buck then looks at them confused.

We know. They all said, trying to recover from laughing.

You uh- you know? But said confused.

It's pretty obviously buckaroo. Chim said right after hen.

It's not hard to tell. The way you look at him, talk to him. The way you talk about him, and y'alls hangouts and his kid. It's super easy to tell. Bobby replied right after.

Buck then let out a sigh of relief before smiling. So you guys don't hate me?

Of course not! We are happy to see you happy! They said.

Buck then smiled even more, happy to have the family he has now.

Okay, now can we please eat? Bobby said and they all started laughing and then dug in, to eat.

So do I tell him? What if he doesn't feel the same way.. Buck said.

Buck listen, you miss 50% of the shots you don't take. Tell Eddie you love him, if you loves you that's amazing! If he doesn't well at least you know. But it's better to tell him you love him and get rejected, than to never have told him and just having these feeling bottled up inside, and just left wondering what would happen if you told him. So save yourself that wonder, and tell him. Hen said.

Absolutely. Plus it's obvious he loves you too. She rolled her eyes and replied back while smiling.

Okay, I'll tell him when I get home. He said he'll wait for me there anyways since I only work a few hours. Buck said.

Awww how cute. Chim said laughing while also happy for his friend.

They all smiled and continued talking and finishing lunch.

Once they were done, the alarm went off (perfect timing right?) And they all rushed to the fire truck and ambulance and went to the call.
