"Chris, what food do you want?" I asked him.

"Chicken nuggets!" He smiled and lifted his head up looking at us.

"Jee will probably eat those too!" Buck said.

"Okay I'll add that to the list" I laughed and wrote that down.

"I don't know what I want" buck chuckled.

"Hmm.... I could see if my abuela can make tamales"

I laughed. "I'll ask her. Hold on" I said and pulled out my phone and messaged her.

Me: Hey Abuela! How are you? ❤

Abuela: Hey Mijo! I'm good, how are you?

Me: happy to hear! I'm good too thanks! Soooo... Buck and I had a question.

Abuela: oh, what is it?

Me: we were wondering if you could make tamales for the wedding? 🙏

Abuela: of course, Mijo! Just tamales? Nothing else?

Me: well, that's all we were going to ask you to make! But... We do love your food!...

Abuela: How about you, buck, and Chris come over the day before the wedding. Like in the morning. And we can all make the food together.

Me: that sounds like fun! I'm sure buck and Chris will love that!

Abuela: great! ❤ what food were you thinking?

Me: well. Chris wants chicken nuggets... But I highly doubt he'll want those after we have all the other food. You know how you and mamá always make a huge selection of food every time we get together?? Well, I was thinking maybe we could do that for the wedding! Everyone loves Mexican food. And we LOVE yours! So, when we come over and cook, we can make the huge selection like always!
