Maddie's POV

"I just wish I could have helped" I said.

"Maddie, you did. or at least you tried" 

"But not hard enough! I'm his older sister Chim, I'm supposed to look out for him. And instead, I let our parent's tear him apart" I held back tears and Chim hugged me.

"You can't put this on you! It's not your fault! Ther's no one to blame but your parents" Chimney replied.

"Still! I know how they are, and I still said nothing! He's probably mad at me"

"I highly doubt it. Eddie messaged me this morning, said that buck was sorry for the whole scene that happened last night and hopes everyone especially you, are okay"

"Buck seriously apologized??"

"That's what Eddie said..."

"This wasn't his fault though!" I said.

"And it wasn't yours either, you both were in a terrible situation. You can't put that on you"

I sighed. "Yeah... Is buck working today?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I'm going to stop by later... see how he's doing..."

"Okay" Chim smiled. "Look, I've got to go... I'll see you later, I love you"

"Yeah... I love you too" I smiled faintly, and he left.

Eddie's POV.

"Mi Amor..." I said trying to get his attention.

"Hm?" he replied, still kind of zoned out.

"Evan"

Buck snapped out of whatever he was thinking and looked at me.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah... I'm fine..."

"Buck, don't lie to me..."

"Fine... No... I'm not okay..." Buck sighed.

"Talk to me"

"I've already annoyed you with it enough last night..."

"You didn't annoy me. I want to listen to your problems. I wouldn't have told you to talk to me if I didn't" I said.

Buck sighed again. "I'm just... I'm still upset about last night... I'm still mad... I knew shit was going to happen... and guess what, it did"

"That's not your fault though! It's theirs"

"I highly doubt they would agree. It's always my fault to them! I can never win. not with them anyways..."

I held him. "You can't blame yourself buck. It isn't your fault. And it never will be"

Buck cuddled up to me on the couch. I could tell he was holding back tears. 

So far, we were the only ones at the station. B-shift was on a call, and bobby and the rest of them haven't showed up yet. So, we were the only ones there at the moment.

"I love you..." Buck said so quietly, that if you had any noise going on you wouldn't have heard him.

"I love you too"

"Also... Thank you... for staying with me through everything. not just last night... but with everything..."

"Always Mi Amor. I will always have your back, you know that" 

"Yeah... but I wouldn't have blamed you if you wanted to leave..." Buck sniffled.
