"Hey, you got to get up my love" I said, and buck groaned.

"Buck, I know your tired and its early. but you have to get up and get ready for work"

"I know... I know" he said with his eyes still closed. "But I don't want to go"

"Why not? You love working"

"Because you won't be there" Buck said now looking at me.

"Well how about at some point later today, Chris and I stop by?" I suggested. "i mean, everyone does love him" he smiled.

"Yeah, I like that idea" Buck smiled.

"Alright well, get ready. or you're going to be late"

"Yeah, yeah" Buck playfully rolled his eyes then got up and got ready"

"Want me to make you some breakfast?"

"But you can't cook? -"

"Wow" I laughed playfully. "Honestly I was just going to heat you up waffles from the freezer"

Buck laughed. "As great as That sounds, I'll just eat at the firehouse. Chris is still sleeping but when he wakes up and wants breakfast, you and him can eat together" He smiled. "It shouldn't be too much longer till he wakes up anyways"

"Okay, well I thought I'd ask" I said then got up and kissed him.

"Thanks for the offer"

"Any time" I smiled.

"Unfortunately, I have to go now" Buck said.

"Okay, well I love you and I'll see you later" I said and kissed him again.

"Bye, I love you too" Buck said with a smile, then left.

by the time buck left, it was almost 7. We meet with Maddie at noon, so there's no point on going back to bed. I decided to take a shower. I was in there for longer than usual, by the time I got out it was almost 7:30. I got ready for the day, and just as I was done, Chris woke up.

"Hey buddy" I said with a smile.

"Why are you dressed up? Are you going somewhere?"

"Yeah, you and I are going out with Aunt Maddie and Jee today. so why don't we have some breakfast and then you can start getting ready"

"Okay, but why are we going with Aunt Maddie and Jee?" Chris asked.

"Because she's going to help me with something"

"With what?"

I laughed. "If I tell you, you have to promise not to tell buck okay"

"I promise" Chris said in the most adorable voice ever.

"Okay well, she's helping me pick out a ring for buck. because I'm going to propose to him"

Chris stayed silent for a few seconds before a big smile appeared on his face.

"Are you okay with that?"

"YES!!" Chris shouted happily, and I just smiled.

"Alright, let's get some breakfast yeah?" I said and Chris and I went to the kitchen.
