year 3
Sage's pov.
i was putting some books away while in the library, ones i had just recently finished when someone had bumped into my shoulder, i spun around, guessing it might've been someone i knew, but surprisingly it was not.
"oh, im sorry" he smiled.
a Ravenclaw, dark eyes, misty hair, coils falling in front of his eyes, in his hands he was holding a book about Herbology, i furrowed my eyebrows.
"its okay" i turned back round' pushing the book into the dusty shelf, onto my tippy toes as i was balancing a stack of other books i held."you seem like you would know" he mumbled under his breath, i turned to look at him and hummed.
"um. sorry, do you know where this book goes" he smiled again, honestly seemed like he never stopped smiling.
"oh yeah, over there" i pointed towards the aisle across from us, where Hallie was sat reading a book, or should i say just skimming through it, not paying attention to us whatsoever."thank you, im Darius" he stretched out his arm and put out his hand, wanting to shake my hand, i pushed out my hand into his, and shook it, his rings almost pinching in between my fingers.
"Sage" i smiled, pulling my hand free."i like your hair, you look like someone that would be in a book" he laughed, i smiled.
"i think thats one of the best compliments ive ever gotten" i wrapped one of my curls around and around my finger anxiously with my hand, he chuckled, leaning his hip against the lower shelves.he had a flirtacous resting face, making me seem like he was flirting, i mean, maybe he was.
"thanks for heping me Sage" he stepped closer, looking down at me.
he must've expected me to blush, instead, i thought he looked like a total idiot, there is only one guy who could possibly make me blush, or smile, or overall make me feel butterflies in my stomach, or cause a chill up my spine just from his voice alone."yeah, of course" i paused, and rested my face "Darius" i lowered my voice mocking his attempts of horrible and to obvious flirting, which may or may not have grossed me out a bit, already uncomfortable.
i pushed the book back, and bumped his shoulder, walking away back to Hallie, he scoffed as i walked away, i could still hear his smirk just by his scoff.
third person pov.
Harry trotted through the snow under his invisible cloak, his feet crunching in the snow as he walked by the twins, Fred and George, who were both creating a snowman.
Fred and George both sneaking up behind him with mischievous smiles as they latched onto either side of him, wrapping their arms around his and pulling him aside, Harry struggling to escape from their grasp.
"guys let me go!" Harry whined as the twins chuckled, you could hear Harry's struggles to get away.
"now Harry, come and join the big boys"
they sat Harry down on stone steps.
Harry pulled the cloak off with a groan.
"what are you doing?" he whispered yelled the twins shushing him to be quiet.
the twins looked around for anyone, no one was seen so they then handed Harry a map, which he took with a hesitant glare and confusion."whats this rubbish" he mumbled, portraying the map before them.
Fred laughed, turning towards George.
"whats this rubbish he says" Fred mumbled.
"that there is the secret to our success" Fred finishes his sentence, looking back to Harry.
"its a wrench giving it to you believe me" George said with a sigh.
"but we've decided, your needs are greater then ours" said Fred, interrupting George, seems like twins did that a lot.Fred turned to George.
"George, if you will" he pointed down at the map, George pulling out his wand and pointing it at the map, the tip of his wand touching the wrinkled parchment.
"i solemnly swear that i am up to no good." he spoke, ink began bleeding across the page, Harry moving his fingers aside to watch it spew.
