Clementines pov.

the next morning felt dull. and strange to say the least. i couldn't stop thinking about Rons words. saying he knew what was going on between the two. either i'm blind. or he's just wrong. and i'm pretty sure it's about him being blind. i hope.

-

Harry grabbed ahold of Hermione and Is hands. soon apparating onto a tall rocky mountain top. it was beautiful. but nothing could really put a smile on my face at the moment. the energy from the other two wasn't much help either.

Hermione sat down, tears in her eyes. Harry walking a little ways away putting protective enchantments around us. i sat next to Hermione looking out at the surreal view as tears fell from her eyes. i knew it was better just to let her sit there and let it out rather than comfort her.

-

Hermione and i sat in the tent as Harry was outside. the sun was setting and i was reading the same book i had brought for this whole trip. i didn't realize how truly exhausting and boring this was. i was sprawled out on the bottom bunk of the bunk bed i had shared with Harry. his sheets smelled like him. which was weirdly comforting. i didn't want to put in the effort of crawling all the way up to my bed so i just laid in his on the thin foam mattress.

Harry entered the tent sitting down in a chair. i looked over at him. he was staring at Hermione with worry and sympathy. i sighed closing my book and sitting up, listening to the radio.
Harry stood up, walking over to us. he extended a hand to Hermione, a small smile tugged on my lips as she took his hand and stood up.

he took the Horcrux from her neck, handing it to me as i wrapped my fingers around it. holding it tightly within my grasp. he pulled Hermione to the middle area of the tent, swaying back and forth. a smile grew on her lips. as much as she might not have wanted it to. i tilted my head, smiling at my boyfriend and best friend.

they laughed brightly, hugging eachother tightly, rocking themselves back and forth.
they pulled apart and Hermione walked back over to where she was sat at before, both of their smiles fading as well as mine. i bit the inside of my cheek and picked up the book again.

-

Harry laid down on his bunk, i laid next to him, his arm wrapped around me, our legs intertwined as he stared at the flying snitch just above his perfectly carved face. i stared up at his long eyelashes, his glasses arched perfectly. i ran my hand along the side of his face.

he grabbed the snitch in his hands. slowly pulling it down to touch his lips. i furrowed my brows and he pulled it away staring at it as the words engraved the small thing like magic.
i mean, i guess you could say his lips were magic.
'i open at the close' it read. he looked at me and i looked at him, he quickly sat up making me follow.

"Hermione!" he said rushing out the tent.
"you were right. Snitches have flesh memories" he said walking along the big rocks beneath our feet over to where Hermione was sat.
"-but i didn't catch the first snitch with my hand, i almost swallowed it." he said, placing it into her hands and sitting down across from her, i sat down next to him.

Hermione turned the snitch, staring at the magic words.
"i open at the close." she read.
"yeah. what do you think that means?" he asked.
"i don't know." she paused. "i found something as well" she said reaching behind her. Harry switched to sat next to her. i followed.

She opened the book looking through the pages as she leaned in so the both of us could see.
"at first. i thought it was an eye but now i don't think it is. it isn't a rune, and it isn't anywhere in Spellman's Syllabary. somebody inked it in. it isn't part of the book. somebody drew it." she said, running her fingers along the page, pointing at the design.

"Luna's dad was wearing that at Bill and Fluers wedding." Harry pointed out. i looked ahead.
"why would someone draw it in a childrens book?" Hermione questioned. we all furrowed our brows.

"look, guys, i've been thinking. i want to go to Godrics Hollow-" Hermione and i looked at Harry.
"you know, it's where i was born. it's where my parents died." Hermione sighed.
"that's exactly where he'll expect you to go because it means something to you." she said, standing up from where she was just sat.

"uh- yeah but it means something to him too, Hermione" Harry had defended. i bit my lip, staring down at the rocks below us. i felt quiet. like i needed to say something.
"you-know-who almost died there." Harry said helping himself up. i dusted off my legs and stood up as well. not wanting to be the only one sat.
"i mean isn't that exactly the type of place he'd be likely to hide a horcrux"
"Harry i don't know" i interjected.
"that's- it's dangerous Harry" Hermione turned to me and back at Harry.

Hermione sighed. "but even i have to admit, recently i've been thinking we'll have to go there" she said continuing to walk Harry and I following her.
"i think it's possible something else is hidden there."
"what?" Harry and I asked.
Hermione turned to look at us. "the sword."

"if Dumbledore wanted you to find it but didn't want it falling into the Ministrys hands, where better to hide it than the birthplace of the founder of Gryffindor?" she stopped and turned to look at us.
"H-Hermione..." Harry said. she reached out her hand, pushing Harries hair back. i looked down awkwardly. i think Ron might be getting into my head. jeez.
"Don't ever let me give you a haircut again" she said. i cracked a smile, looking at Harries hair.
"it isnt... the worst" i shrugged. Harry looked at me like i was cheating on him. i raised my hands in surrender. Hermione began walking away.
"hey, is mine bad?" i asked hesitantly. she looked back at me. without a word turning back around and walking away.
"is it bad?" i turned to Harry.
"no it's not bad" he said, playing with my curls with a smile.
