Clementines pov.

i opened my eyes. my head pounding. the sound of chirping birds was heightened. i sat up, my vision going fuzzy. i couldn't see through the broken glass which was my glasses.
i pulled them off, everything looking blurry. i looked around. things were hard to make out but i could tell i was in the woods. the trees surrounding me.
i looked around for the other three.

i felt around for my wand, quickly finding it.
"Oculus Reparo" i said. i picked up the glasses, putting them back onto my face. i could now see my surroundings.

"Quickly!" i heard Hermione shout. i stood up, trying not to topple over.
i saw Hermione who was crouched over what seemed to be Ron's shaking form. i rushed over, almost tripping over my own feet.
i looked over at Harry who was rummaging through Hermiones bag. my face dropped.
i quickly dropped down by Hermione.

"Accio dittany!" i heard Harry say. i didn't even look at what he was doing because i was too panicked.
"shhh. it's alright" comforted Hermione.
"unstop it." Hermione said. Harry was walking closer.
"Hermione, his arm." he said, i swallowed harshly, looking away.
"i know! just do it!" she shouted.
Hermione tried her best to comfort Ron. i'm not sure it was doing much with the state he was in.

Hermione grabbed it from Harry.
"here it's- it's gonna sting a little bit" she said.
"what happened?" Harry asked.
"i thought we were meant to be going back to Grimmauld Place."
"we were. we were. Shhhh" i never heard Hermione sound so hopeless before.
"it's all right. one more, one more." she said as she dropped the liquid on.

"we were there. we were there. but Yaxley had hold of me, and i-" she inhaled a breath. we were all breathing heavily.
"i knew once he'd seen where we were, we- we couldn't stay." she inhaled another deep breath. "so i brought us here- but..." the tears rolled down her cheek. i put a hand on her back to comfort her as my eyes watered up.

"Ron got splinched." she said. Ron's arm began turning back to normal. "it's alright" whispered Hermione. i looked up at Harry, he looked at me, our eyes connecting, both with worried looks.

we all sat in silence, deeply breathing in and out. Hermione stood up, Harry getting up and taking her place as she walked away. she raised her wand.
"what are you doing?" asked Harry as she began casting spells.
"Protective enchantments." she turned to look at us. "i don't fancy another visit like the one we had in Shaftesbury Avenue, do you?" she turned back around.

"you can get going on the tent."
"tent?" Harry and I questioned at the same time. she continued her spells.
"where am i supposed to find a tent?" he said. i looked over at her bag, Harry getting the same idea. i looked over at him then stood up, sticking my hand in her bag i felt around and found the tent she was talking about.

-

Harry and I set up the tent, i was sweating afterwards, but it was worth it. Hermione was protecting us with her spells, and Ron was just laying on the ground.

-

"so where do we go next?" Hermione asked, we all were now in the tent sitting at the table, Ron asleep in bed.
"well Dumbledore had a theory that the horcruxes wouldn't be made out of- random objects." i sipped on my tea listening to him, my head leaning on his shoulder. it had been to long since Harry and I have even held hands... romantically at least. not running from our death.
he continued. "-and they wouldn't be hidden randomly either. we know of three so far. uh, the ring, which, according to Dumbledore belonged to Toms grandfather, the dairy, which obviously belonged to Tom himself, and then this, which, again, according to Dumbledore, belonged to Toms mother." we all stared at the locket.

"scared me a bit, though. thinking it's a piece of-" Hermione begins. Ron interrupting.
"no, don't.... don't say it."
"he's awake" i say, looking up from Harry's shoulder over at the sleepy boy.

Hermione stood up from her seat, walking over to him.
"'cause it- its taboo. you know who's name that's how they track people now."
"how do you know that?" Harry turned in his seat to look at Ron.
"I overheard some bloke at the Ministry talking about it."
Hermione was now sat on the bed.
"tea?" she asked. which reminded me to take a sip of my tea whilst it was still hot.

i looked down at Harries hand, intertwining our fingers. they felt cold, and lonely. that sounds dramatic but they did. and i missed his soft warm touch.
Hermione got up from the bed.
"is that it?" Ron asked, looking at the locket.
Harry turned, our hands falling out of each others as he reached to pick it up.
he got up, walking over and placing it in Ron's hand.

"yep." he sat back down. i watched as Hermione poured a cup of warm tea for Ron. i shivered from the cold feeling i felt. running my fingers through my tangled hair.
how was i already missing school? my friends. the laughs and the warm feeling i got in my heart. i missed them. i hope their okay.
Harry noticed how uneasy i must've looked and placed a hand on my thigh for the smallest amount of comfort. i sighed. letting out a breath i didn't realize i was holding in.

Hermione walked over. handing Ron the tea.
"i know. i felt that too." he said .
Ron set it down.
"it ticking or something. like it's got a heart." he continued. i stared at it. getting an un easy feeling. i placed my hand over Harries.
"like it's alive." Ron said.
"i hate it. it's like he's here with us." Hermione joined in. they both turned to look at Harry.
"and that's why we're gonna kill it." Harry said.

-

"what are you doing out here?" Harry said. he stepped out of the tent. joining me on the fallen log i was sat on. my new fresh, hot cup of tea keeping my hands warm. the trees howling around us. joining in with the sound of crickets.
"fresh air." i reply. he nods. scooting closer to me. he wraps an arm around my shoulders, pulling me close. his body warmth is all that i need.
i rest my head on his shoulder and nuzzle close to his neck. placing a soft kiss on his skin.

he pulls away. i look up at him as his hands grab onto my neck, pulling me close he connects our lips. i breathe in a deep breath. my fingers gripping onto the tea cup tighter. the feel of his warm lips against my cold ones sent electricity through my bones.

my hand traveled to his neck, gliding through his hair. his heavy breathing was calming. his nails digging into my neck as his lips trailed down to my jaw and my neck.
i let out a shaky breath. my nails digging into his skin. he pulled away, connecting his lips with mine once again.

i pulled away. our eyes opening in unison as we both stared at each other. my lips parted. a smile pulling at them as we both breathed heavily. i didn't realize how much i was craving his touch.
"do you think-" i let out a breath. sliding my tongue along my bottom lip.
"do you think we're gonna be okay?" i ask. my tone serious. i was genuinely worried. my fingers tapped the warm cup. he stared at my hands.
"i don't know" he said. i nodded and looked up at him. he sighed and pulled me into a hug. his head in the crook of my neck. his voice mumbled by the fabric of my scarf.

"let's go inside" he said. i pulled away from the hug and nodded. his hand tucked my hair behind my ear and he pulled me into a short kiss. soon helping me up and grabbing my hand as we walked back into the tent.
