Year 6.

Clementines pov.

"how was your dinner?" i asked.
Harry returning to his room as i was waiting for him, reading a book as i laid in his bed.
he took of his coat, tossing it onto the end of his bed.
"yeah, it was dinner" he said, clearing his throat.

"hey do you know anything about Ginny and Dean?"
"what?"
"i just assumed-"
"Ginny and I aren't really friends, more like...acquaintances"
"oh."
"why?"
"she just seemed to have been crying, Hermione pointed it out"
i hummed.

i don't know why my usual routine was to sit with Harry, Ron and Hermione in the mornings, but it was.
at this point was I even a Hufflepuff.

when i sat across from Hermione at the table, Ron was staring into his cup.
"don't drink it Ron!" Hermione exclaimed.
he began downing the juice, i stared at everyone with confusion.

Harry had a cheeky smile on his face.
"you can be expelled for that." Hermione scolded.
she was definitely the mother of the group.
"i don't know what you're talkin' about." Harry said, straightening his posture with a shrug of the shoulders.
i confusingly drank my juice.

"come on, Harry. we've got a game to win" they both got up.
"what did i miss" i said, picking up my fork.
"Harry put Liquid luck into Ron's juice" Luna said, her usual high pitched voice.
i almost choked on my food.
"what?" i smiled.
"you think it's funny?!" Hermione said staring at me.
"i mean, no one has to know" i said, looking around the table, making sure no teachers had seen.
"ridiculous" Hermione mumbled, sitting back with crossed arms.

-

everyone was at the game, Ron was doing amazingly well.
snow was falling collecting in my coiled hair.
Hermione had a smile on her face at Ron doing his best, he truly was doing a good job, she shook her head, but i knew she couldn't hide that proud smile of hers.
Harry truly was one smart guy.

the game went on amazingly well.
Harry better hope he never gets caught for that.

-

everyone celebrated Ron, all chanting "Weasley! Weasley! Weasley!" almost seemed like a cult.
it reminded me of the times the twins would do something good in Quidditch and be praised for it. i did miss the chaos with them around.
red colored confetti floating all around the room, a giant smile on his face.
this might have been the happiest i had seen him.

"well, you shouldn't have done it." Hermione said, still against the idea of him taking the Liquid Luck.
i shrugged, my hand intertwined with Harries at the moment.
"i know. i suppose i could've just used a Confundus Charm." he turned to look at Hermione, whos brows furrowed. i raised my brow.

"that was different. that was tryouts this was an actual game." she defended.
Harry showed her the completely full bottle of Liquid luck.
"you didn't put it in?" Hermione said.
i looked at Harry with a laugh.
"Ron only thought you did."

Harry had a smug smile on his face, we all turned back to see Ron's lips locked with Claudias.
my smile immediately faded, her arms hung over his shoulders as they basically made out in front of everyone.

i looked around the room for the face of Hallie and Sage.
i knew their mouths would be hung open at the sight.
Ron acceptingly wrapped his arms around her torso.
Harry was chuckling at the sight, i looked at Hermione, her face clearly telling a different story than Harry's.

had Ron not learned from last year when Claudia basically drugged his brother (Fred) into loving her.

i immediately let go of Harries hand, making him turn his head with confusion, but i just pushed past the people trying to chase after the clearly upset Hermione.

Hermione sat at the end of a staircase, i sat next to her wrapping my arm around her, leaning my head against her shoulder as she cried.
"he's a knob Hermione" i shook my head, rubbing her shoulder.

i looked up to see Harry after i heard his footsteps.
he stepped down, Hermione wiping her tears, Harry looked down at us.

"Charm spell. i'm just practicing" she said, the birds flying around us chirping.
"well, they're really good" Harry spoke.
he sat down on the other side of Hermione.

she cried until we heard the giggling of Claudia with Ron, alongside many footsteps.
they both had smiling faces when they turned the corner, both catching sight of us.
we all three stared at them with disappointment.

"oops!" Claudia said, she pulled on Ron's arm, her stupid smile to bright and big for me.
"i think this rooms taken" she almost had puppy dog eyes staring into the poor boys soul.
i guess, i shouldn't feel sympathy for Ron, but has Claudia used the same technique that she used with Fred for Ron? because how is he stupid enough to make out with Claudia of all people.

Claudia ran off expecting Ron to chase after her.
Ron still he that stupid smile on his face.
"what's with the birds?" he asked.
Hermione got up.
"Oppugno." she said, the birds began chasing after Ron, his face going pale, his breathing raggedy as he began to run off, his smile faded pretty quickly.

Hermione began sobbing, collapsing back down onto the stairs, she leaned on Harry's shoulder and sobbed, i rubbed her back comfortingly.

-

Harry and I made i back to my dorm after parting ways with Hermione.

"i can't believe him" i said, shaking my head, taking off my coat and throwing it onto my bed.
Harry didn't reply, i turned to him, he was taking off his shoes.

"you know they like each other yeah?" i said, just making sure he knew.
"yes" he said, giving me a nod.
i slumped onto my bed, laying down with a big sigh.

"i swear guys are blind"
"what" he walked over and sat on the bed next to me, trying to take off his coat.
"it's like, you are oblivious whenever you see us flirting with you."
"that's not true"
"second year, i was practically drooling about you" i said, sitting up.
"your telling me you didn't notice?" i finished, facing him.
"well- i- i was young!" he defended.
"excuses, excuses, excuses" i said whilst getting up to use the loo.
"it's not!"
