Clementines pov.

"the ministry has a level of control in Hogwarts education?!" i heard students chatter from across the halls, people passing around the paper for today.

"not surprised this has something to do with Professor Umbridge" Sage said leaning into Hallie's side to whisper as we walked into The Great Hall for breakfast per usual.
"you mean Professor Pig" said Hallie with a mumbled voice, i glanced over at the two, Hallie looking at me, "what?... she wears a lot of pink" Hallie said, i shrugged, the two girls parting ways as i went to sit next to Harry, Ron and Hermione.

"have you heard" Hermione said, toying around with the paper in her hands, i snatched it from her grasp, reading half of it before returning it back to her.
"that she walks around all prissy" i muttered.
"that's one way to put it" Ron said. i sighed and got up, returning back to the Hufflepuff table.

"so we all share a mutual agreement that we don't like Professor Pig?" Hallie quietly said.
"Hallie!" Sage said, looking around to see if anyone heard the nickname she kept giving Professor Umbridge.
"sorry...." Hallie exhaled. her shoulders going tense.

i sat down at the table, putting my bag down by my feet. i looked down the table.
"is that a student?" i said, my eye fixated down the table.
"Clementine dear.. there are thousands of students in this room, who exactly are you talking about" Sage gestured around us.
"in Cedrics spot" i bit my lip, both the girls looked down the table, leaning forwards to see better.

of course i didn't expect a seat to be empty for many years... but, no one had sat in Cedric's spot since his passing.
the both of them looked back over at me, i looked down at my plate.
"i'm sure they didn't know" Hallie said, trying to comfort me, i nodded.
"uh... coffee anyone?" Sage awkwardly picked up the coffee pot.
"yes ma'am" Hallie smiled as Sage poured coffee into her mug, i shook my head, i wasn't much of a coffee fan, definitely tea though.

as students walked down the halls at this time, Professor Prissy would walk around flinging her magic wand wherever she wanted.
pushing students apart, fixing students outfits or hair, making sure they even held their books correctly.
she would separate students from making out or being in love.. i guess she isn't the mushy gushy type of person.

she would walk into classes and ask questions about our Professors, which i assume was meant to see if she should hire higher scaled Professors.
i mean i wouldn't be to upset if she were to replace Snape, but knowing her it would me someone maybe even worse then him.

she acted so high in power, which i mean, she was high in power.
she made me so angry, but there was absolutely nothing my friends nor I could do about it.
school wasn't even a school anymore, it was just like some preppy stuck up school.

-

Days and days passed by and she was still up to it.
she would rip kids fun right from the palm of their hands.

like the twins, she would walk up to whatever magical thing they were up to and stop it, just by waving her magic power stick.
you could see all the light drain from their eyes, like taking a sweet out of a child's pockets.

she would continue to hang up non sense rules, things that didn't matter at all, but to her did.
all on this stupid wall.
she banned any and all Weasley products.
which was absolutely depressing for the Weasley twins, and Sage and Hallie who tried to comfort the twins.

Harry and I rushed up to Cho Chang, i kept eyeing her, but not because i hated her, maybe it was because Harry liked her at some point, but she liked my brother... my dead... brother, and i don't know if she likes Harry.
it doesn't matter, i'm the one who is dating him after all.

"Cho, what's going on?" said Harry, all students around us pushing and shoving and walking as fast as they could.
"it's Professor Trelawney" she said, Harry and Cho looked at each other, she looked at me and gave me a polite smile, i smiled back giving her a nod.

we talked a little bit after my brothers passing, but never talked outside of that perimeter.
the chatter of students is what led us to the outskirts of the courtyard, everyone piled to see what was going on.

Filch was walking out with luggage in his hand, the Professor sobbing as she stood hopelessly.

here comes the corporate.
Professor Umbridge walking highly and properly as students parted the sea for her to walk through.
we all looked at each other curiously.

Umbridge walked closer to the Professor, they both stood in the middle of the courtyard.
"six- sixteen years i've.. i've lived and taught here" Trelawney spoke, her voice cracking as her eyes swelled with tears. i felt horrible for her.
"Hogwarts is my home" her voice cracked.
"y-you can't do this."
"actually, i can" she held up a paper in her hands. she had such a big smile on her face, that i so badly wanted to slap off at the time.
the Professor was hunched over, sobbing some more until Professor McGonagall ran through, pushing past us to comfort her.

she held her in her arms as she sobbed.
"something you'd like to say dear?" Umbridge said in her perky voice.
i knew from the beginning how much i was going to hate her.. but now, it just reminded me thousandfold.
"oh there are several things i would like to say" McGonagalls voice was rocky and she didn't seem to be afraid of this women at all which i admired.

she comforted the other Professor in her arms, gently rubbing her back and shushing her quietly in her arms.
we were all interrupted by the door banging loudly and screeching open, everyone and their mother turning.
the sea of students parted once again, and out walked Professor Dumbledore, my eyes widened.

he walked down to the Professors that were standing in the courtyard.
"Professor McGonagall, might i ask you to escort Sybil back inside?" he said, the air was still, everyone was tense.
Professor Umbridge still had a giant ego.
Professor Trelawney looked incredibly relived as Mcgonagall pulled her away.
as they walked passed Dumbledore she couldn't stop thanking him, she was almost about to fall to her feet worshiping the man, i mean i would to in that situation.

"Dumbledore" there's that annoying perky voice i didn't want to here again.
"may i remind you that under the terms of Educational Decree Number 23, as enacted by the Minster-" she wasn't able to finish her useless blabbing of the mouth thanks to Dumbledore who boomed over her obnoxiously high pitched voice.
"you have the right to dismiss my teachers.
you do not however, have the authority to banish them from the grounds. that power reminds with the Headmaster." he spoke.

they all paused for a moment, i was starting to think she glued her face to remain as that cherish smile.
"for now" she raised her head a bit higher with pride.
Dumbledore stood still before turning around and exiting dramatically, he shouted out to all the students directly.

"don't you all have studying to do?" he said, still continuing to walk.
the rustling of all the students pushing around to walk away immediately erupted, i was standing next to Harry as he began shouting.

"Professor!" he shouted, chasing after Dumbledore, i tried to pull on his arm, instead i watched as he hopelessly tried to get the attention of Dumbledore.
He clearly heard him, but chose to ignore Harry.
i chased after Harry instead and pushed through the people profusely apologizing.

Harry paused and looked around, i pushed past one last student to be met by his side as he watched Dumbledore walk up the stairs, i sighed looking up at Harry.

1363 words.
