third person pov.

it was a bright and early sunday morning when Clementine was sat in the library.
snow still on the ground, and some still falling, students chattering, and whispers of others across her in the library.

Clementine skimmed through the same book multiple times, just for her own "enjoyment" not that many would say thats enjoyable.

"jeez- how long does it take to read one book" a student asked the girl from across the room jokingly.

Clementine looked up curiously, she caught her eye on the jet black haired Ravenclaw student, dark, dark almost black, but brown eyed boy.... mysterious, she thought.

she smiled.
"I've read this book more then once" she looked back down, a simple response, for someone who isn't that simple.

"Darius" he said, walking towards Clementine a dark green covered book shoved between his arm and chest.

"excuse me?" Clementine said, looking up at the boy, the curls in his hair falling over his eyes as he looked down at her, his smirk was dominant, 'thats my resting face' a sentence that was over used.

"Darius Hein, my name" he spoke softly, but there was a litte rasp in the back of his throat, he reached his hand out to shake Clementines, gold rings on every other finger.

"Clementine Diggory" she smiled, reaching our her hand and shaking his.
"you're a third year?" he asked, sitting almost uncomfortably close.
"i- well yes- wait how did u know that" Clementine was stumbling over her words like a overactive puppy.
"i've seen you, sitting next to my sister, shes a third year. thirteen about your height, hufflepuff, dark hair like me" he spoke.
"Hallie?... wait Sage?" Clementine asked, eager.
"no- maybe u dont know her... anyway, im a fifth year, i regularly see you here, i thought id say hello"
"so you're fifteen then?"
"correct" he smiled.

Clemen smiled, and looked back to her book.
"surprised you arent a Slytherin" she spoke, still staring down at the book, continuing to read.
"why, because i look like i would hurt someone?" he chuckled, like she had a stereotype, which she did.
"actually yes" she looked up from the book with a little chuckle, shaking her head.
"typical" he shook his head jokingly.
Clementine shook her head, trying to hide a smile this stranger gave to her, like it was contagious, maybe it is?

"so, reading, in your free time? you have friends right"
"that was back handed"
"alright, yeah im sorry" he laughed, pushing his curls out of his face.
"my friends are with their boyfriends you could say" she smiled, looking back down at the book.
"what so you dont have a boyfriend"
"okay well im thirteen, i have friends, that are boys" Clementine said proudly.
Darius hummed.

"you've never met my sister then?" he asked, breaking the silence.
"i dont know, whats her name?" Clemen asked.
"Heather, shes fourteen, Hufflepuff" he shrugged, hitting his knuckles on the table continuously.
"oh, yeah i know, shes friends with Violet right, the Slytherin, dark hair" Clementine asked, setting down her book and resting her chin on her palm, looking into the boys eyes.
"yes, how do you know Violet?"
"friend of a friends, you could say we are kinda friends though.... i guess"
"yeah, my sister is kind of a trouble maker, a jokester you could say"
"yeah i usually see her getting in trouble"
"she blames it on me sometimes, which i dont understand but, teenage girls right?"
"isnt that sexist Darius" Clementine cleared her throat, grabbing the book and setting it on a shelf, leaning her back agaisnt the shelf.

he rolled his eyes, standing up and pushing his seat back, he walked close, his hot breath on her cold face, making her wince.
he grabbed a book out of the shelf behind her, her breath hitched.
