Party disaster

I stared at myself in the mirror. Well, I look just fine. Suddenly my phone started ringing, and an image of Olivia popped up. I smiled and picked up the call

"Hi, and ahead of your questions, I'm on my way out" I said first.

"ha ha, I didn't doubt it. Actually I was just calling to say that Adam and I are going to be a little late, so you can start having fun without us"

Hearing Adam's name made me cringe, it just came out. It wasn't my fault that Olivia's boyfriend only disgusted me.

"Okay, guys, but don't be too long there" I said, trying to sound normal.

"Yeah" Olivia started but didn't finish because I heard her giggle and the way she ended the call.

And I even knew who made her giggle, it was like this when Adam kissed her neck. I took another look at my makeup and was pleased with the result. My cab should be here in a few minutes, so I wasted no time getting outside.

Just as I thought, the cab arrived quickly and I headed to my destination. Initially we didn't think we were going out, but then we found out that we were all invited to the same party and decided to take advantage of that.
When I got there I took the elevator up to the roof where the party was actually going on, I politely said hello to the hostess of the party, got a drink and stepped aside.

"Y/n" I heard a familiar man's voice nearby.

I turned around and saw Conan smiling.

"Conan!" I smiled back at him and we hugged each other tightly. The three of us used to hang out a lot (me, Conan and Olivia) before Adam came into our lives.

"Where's Liv?" He asked.

"She and Adam are coming late," I replied, rolling my eyes a little bit

Conan looked at me and smirked.
"You still don't like him, do you?"

"I don't have to like him, I'm not the one dating him," I snapped back.

"You're incorrigible, how did Liv not notice that you can't stand him yet, I can't imagine."

"I'm smart enough not to tell her I don't like her boyfriend."

"Yeah. But I don't understand why, he seems like a nice guy" Conan shrugged.

"Look I just don't like him and that's it, the conversation is over" I sipped from my glass irritably.

Conan gave a quiet chuckle from the way I was standing there pouting. Suddenly someone jumped on me from behind. I inhaled a scent of perfume that I would have recognized from a thousand. And when my eyes were closed by two warm palms of soft skin I smiled, forgetting everything I cared about

"Guess who?" Olivia's cheerful voice rang out.

"I don't know, Victoria, is that you?" With a laugh I replied, turning to a radiant Olivia.

"I'm insulted" she said laughing and then gave me a big hug.

I hugged her too, feeling her warm body and her soft, silky hair. When we pulled away from each other, I finally looked at Adam who stepped closer and put his arm around Olivia's waist.

"Hello Adam," I smiled.

"Hello Y/n, long time no see Conan" he replied just nodding at me and shaking Conan's hand

Olivia looked at him with a smile and put her hand on his chest, proudly.

"Let's go have some fun guys, shall we?" Conan suggested.

"Yeah, I'll just get us something to drink" Adam said turning to everyone and continued looking only at Olivia "babe, you want something?"

"Get me a mojito, please" she replied.
