Dinner

I woke up to Olivia covering me with a blanket.

"No, I'm awake now," I said and opened my eyes.

"Good morning sleepyhead" smiled Olivia "why did you fall asleep on the floor?"

"Well it was warm and I was tired" I explained as I sat up and rubbed my eyes

"You can celebrate todaut," Olivia said, rising up.

"Wow, what is it?" I asked.

"I made us breakfast."

"Oh my, can I put this day on my calendar?" I joked.

I'm sure Liv would make a great cook and cook masterpieces, but so far she has no interest in it at all and I have taken over the main cook's duties. It's easier for Olivia to run to the nearest snack bar and get a quick bite to eat. I love to cook and experiment with food, so, we complement each other perfectly.

When I showered and came out of it on the table there was breakfast waiting for me, beautifully served.

"Is that what I think it is?" I asked as I walked closer to the table and smiled.

"Yes, Y/n Y/l/n, these are your favorite pancakes from your favorite recipe" said Liv who now seeing my smile was smiling too

"Gosh, I can't remember the last time I had them" I said, wasting no time and sitting down at the table right away

"Besides the classic ones, I also made some with chocolate chips inside."

"We really should put this day in calendar" I said as I put half a pancake in my mouth "Liv this is divine, I love you"

"I know I'm perfect," she says demonstratively, rolling her eyes, but I can tell she's enjoying it.

After we ate breakfast and put our plates away, we went outside and specifically to the lake. It was kind of cold today, so we threw on our overalls and took a blanket and a thermos of hot tea. After spreading the blanket by the water we sat there and drank our tea with steam coming out of it in turn from the lid of the thermos.
The wind stirred my hair, and I stared ahead, picking up the slightest ripple of water

I turned my head to get another cup of tea and realized that Olivia had been looking at me the whole time, at no one else. I smiled awkwardly and sipped my tea to hide my embarrassment.

We know so much of each other but when she looks at me like that I get embarrassed and my neck gets covered in red spots

"You're blushing again," Olivia remarked.

"Am I?" I asked, blushing even more.

"Relax Y/n" she said then put her arm around my shoulders

I did take a deep breath in and out, and then I leaned against her, feeling warm in her arms. We spent some time like that before Liv said

"It's getting cold, shall we go inside?"

"Come on," I replied, and trying not to show any regret I got up from the blanket

We shook off the blanket and went inside the house where it was much warmer than outside.Olivia sat on the couch reading a book while I rummaged through the closets, trying to see if my parents had left anything here. That's how I came upon a closed bottle of wine. I hovered over it, pulled it out, and wiped the dust off the label and walked over to Olivia

"Look what I found?"

"Booze?" She asked, looking away from the book.

"Exactly. What about dinner and wine tonight?"
