you spent half of the evening explaining to your parents what happened.

they were shocked. especially levi.

once he saw you entering the house, he knew something was up, but he didn't expect all that.

they both tried their best to calm you down but the betrayal you felt, was bringing you more tears.

"i'm gonna go to my room. i want to be alone, if you don't mind" you said, your voice cracking up.

"if you need anything, call us, hunny!" your mother said, sad eyes following your figure.

you didn't respond. you didn't even nod. your energy was drained from all the crying. you opened your room's door and just fell on your bed.

you couldn't sleep that night. all you did was look at old texts you had exchanged with your now ex-boyfriend.

they still looked real.

not even a hint of lie.

the hours passed with you reading those meaningless conversations.

you stopped, giving a break to your eyes. you looked around your room; full of pictures with him.

full of your favorite pictures you had from your dates.

all your desk's selves had something that reminded you of him.

all those study dates.

the movie nights.

the sleepovers.

lies. lies. lies.

you closed your eyes, taking a deep breath. you checked the time; 6am.

you opened your curtains, letting the summer sun paint your room with its light.

you had nothing to distract yourself with and it was too early to do anything.

"how can i escape you when you're in my head?" you said to no one but yourself.

your eyes landed on your phone. you didn't want to open it and see everything again. so you just turned it off.

completely.

you were alone with your thoughts, once again. you laid on the bed, looking at the ceiling.

'in the end, i never existed as his girlfriend... what have i done to deserve this?' was your last thought before you drifted off to a-not-so-relaxing sleep.
