march 30th
you were standing in front of the full-body mirror, staring at the woman in it.
was she really you?
the woman in white who stared back at you, was really you?
"a note from the groom has arrived" mikasa said, entering the room.
she gave it to you as you opened the small envelope, meeting the note with eren's handwriting.
'i'm sure you look perfect❤️' it said.
you smiled and turned to look at mikasa.
"tell him that i pretty much appreciate it, but i can't write back 'cause of the other preparations we have left" you said, smiling at her.
she nodded her head before exiting the room. your mom fixed your make-up and then your dress, as she admired your figure.
"the day finally came, right, mom?" you said, looking at her through the mirror.
she nodded her head and wiped the single tear that rolled down her cheek.
"you look amazing, bubs!" mikasa said, closing the door behind her.
you chuckled as she came up to you, taking your hands in hers.
"time to remove this little one, right?" she said, staring at your engagement ring.
"yeah..."
she removed it and placed it, gently, on a small box.
"take deep breaths, babe! you're a shit ton of nervous, we know! but y/n... that's what you want, isn't it?" she asked, her thumb caressing your hand.
you nodded your head, feeling the hot tears sting your eyes. she looked at the clock and then back at you.
"in some minutes... go get the fucking man!" she said, making everyone laugh.
you knew you'd never regret choosing mikasa as your maid of honor. it was like she was born to be one. the way she talked and the things she said, reassured you and helped you calm down.
"we're gonna go now, okay?" she said, fixing the tiara on your head.
you nodded your head and waved at all of them. you were left alone in the room as you checked yourself in the mirror -one last time- before a knock came on the door. you walked towards it and opened it, your eyes meeting levi. his eyes slightly widened, as he looked at you, up and down.
