The end of the week was approaching quickly. Lilith had been using her time both to practice her way with the sword, and to rest. She didn't want to be worn out when it came time.

She grew more and more anxious as time passed, although she was confident, she couldn't let the thought that she was going to die escape her mind.

The night before the fight, she couldn't fall asleep. She didn't know why she was getting so anxious now. Maybe it was because it was so soon? She didn't know. All she knew was that she was hyperventilating. She couldn't breathe. The room was spinning around her, and it all went blurry with tears.

Eliott was walking down to Liliths room, he knew she would be anxious right about now. He didn't know the full length of the situation, but he figured she would be anxious.

He knocked on the door. No response. He knocked again.

Lilith couldn't let anything out, only sobs, and heaves of worry.

Eliott got worried, she couldn't be anywhere else, could she? It was far too late to be practicing her skills with the blade. He knocked once more, then he would let himself in.

He gave her plenty of time to answer, but no response. He turned the knob and it was unlocked, thank the lord. He pushed in, and saw her in a panic. He quickly closed the door, and rushed over to her. "Lilith, what happened? Are you okay?" He sat next to her on the bed.

She was gripping at her ribs, leaving nail marks in her skin. "I-I-" She couldn't speak any further than that.

"Its going to be okay, i promise." He took both of her hands, stopping her from clawing at herself. He wiped her tears from her cheeks, and sat her up gently. He was now facing her, face to face. "Breathe, deep breaths." He said quietly. Not quite a whisper, but not in a normal voice either. "Its alright. I'm here."

Lilith leaned into Eliott. She was still shaking with violent sobs. He rubbed her back slowly. "I love you, Lilith. I promise you'll be okay. I know what you're worried about, but it'll be okay. I'll make sure of it." He wasn't sure what he would do if all went wrong, but he would try in every way he could do prevent it.

She slowly calmed down, melting into Eliotts frame. She fell asleep in his arms. It felt as if all were normal again. There was not a care in the world here. They were happy.
