GOODNIGHT MY LOVE

His Point of Veiw

"THANK YOU po Doc" one of my patient said I just nodded and smile "No prob, just follow what I said" I said and waved my hand at the kid. That was my last patient in my office.

Lumabas na muna ako sa office ko, I go to the hospital cafeteria, and buy myself a water. "Stress Doc?" sabi ng kaibigan kong doctor na din. Napa-iling na lang ako sa kanya at uminom ng tubig.

"I am, always" I said, for the past days, I don't have a proper sleep, meron mga oras na biglaang nasa ER ako or kailangan ako. I'm planning to have a leave next week? To gave myself a peaceful day-off.

"I know, seating on your chair is your only rest" sabi niya tumango naman ako dahil totoo yun. "And you know? Minsan hindi pa nga" sabi ko, bumili din siya ng tubig niya.

We just stay for a minute before bidding a goodbye to each other. Binabati naman ako ng mga nakakasalubong kong mga nurse, tumatango lang ako at nginitian sila.

"Are you feeling well?" tanong ko sa batang naging pasyente ko, dumaan kasi ako sa room niya. She smiled at me and nodded

"Opo Doc" she said.

Lumapit naman ako sa kanya at tinignan ko kung maayos ba ang mga nakalagay sa kanya. "Pagaling ka, para makalabas ka na dito" sabi ko tumango naman siya.

"Opo, Doc thank you po" sabi niya, I just tap her head and smile, after talking to her for a minute, umalis na din ako doon. Before going back to my office, a nurse call me.

"Doc Baltazar!" lumingon naman ako

"Yes?" I said after I turned to the nurse

"May naghahanap po sa inyo, nasa office niyo na po" sabi ng nurse tumango naman ako.

Pumunta na ako sa office ko and I was so confused, everytime I'm going out, I always lock my office but now? A visitor in my office?

Pagbukas ko ng pinto ay nagulat ako kung sino ang tinutukoy na bisita ko

"Surprise!" she said, I went to her and hug her "Kailan ka naka-uwi?" tanong ko, after I hug her she smiled at me, I also guide her in my office couch

"Kanina lang, tapos dumiretso na ako dito" sabi niya, I kissed her temple "Glad your here again, are you leaving again?" tanong ko umiling naman siya.

"Nope, I'll stay now, unless it's really emergency" sabi niya and I am glad.

She's Dianna my girlfriend, we've been in a relationship for nine years now. She always go to another country because of her parents, kaya naging long distance relationship din kami, but it was not a problem.

Even though we're really busy in work, we always make sure we have a time for ourselves and to each other. And now, finally the distance is over.

"Calling the attention of Doc. Andrew Baltazar, please come to the operation room now, calling the attention of Doc. Andrew Baltazar, please come to the operation room now! Immediately, thank you..."

As I heard the announcement, I turn to Dianna "It's okay, they need you, I'll just wait you here" she said, I kissed her forehead and get some of my things

"I'll be back but I don't know what time" I said and she nooded.

"Tell to my patients who will come, I'm in the OR, I don't know what time I'll be back" I said to the nurse I saw outside my office and he just nodded.

"Noted Doc" he said and I nodded at him, I immediately change my clothes and go to the operating room, as I go inside I saw nurses.

"What happened?" I ask them cause I know there's already a doctor inside. "Doc. Madrigal needs your assistance Doc. Baltazar" sabi ng Nurse kaya tumango ako.
