Part 44

Anu and Yuvi worked silently as Rehan didn't look like he was up for anything else but work. 

"What's wrong with you two? Is there something you want to talk about?" Rehan said as he looked up from his laptop, to which Yuvi shook his head furiously. "Ah! You two know as well. Don't you?" He laid back on his chair staring at Yuvi and Anu, as he raised his brow. 

"No, we don't know anything!" Anu shook her hands in Big No. "You know when people don't know the normal response is- What are you talking about." Rehan looked lazily at Anu. " I mean if you are going to lie, put some effort in it." He added. 

"Why didn't you tell us you are practically the heir of leading companies, huh...?" Anu questioned not knowing how to handle the situation, "Because I am not. I literally filled out the campus selection forms with you two."Rehan shook the comment off. 

"Yeah... but why?" Yuvi asked confused,  "Ain't that obvious? I mean... I don't go well with my parents. That's why this whole my mom situation happened. No?" Rehan raised his brows to which the duo nodded letting out a soft "Ah! right." 

"We do have an heir among us though."Rehan shrugged, " What? other than you? who?" Yuvi asked his eyes going wide while Anu groaned. "Yah! Are you going to seriously do this? She told me about you because she was worried. It was my fault for letting Yuvi in on it." Anu frowned.

"What is this... hah! Why am I the only one who gets to know everything last? I mean... Wow. I am so disappointed I don't have words to explain my feelings." Yuvi huffed. "It's Sana. Right? wah! seriously- and she said she was Interning- hah! am I that untrustworthy to you guys?" He added as he shook his head. "Let's not make this personal- she has her reasons" Anu said frowning at Rehan. "Yah! stop looking at me like that- I thought she told you therefore I mentioned it."Rehan said looking away. 

"Yah! guys!!" Sana came running in making them jump. "Oh! looking at your faces did you already get the news?"Sana raised her brows confused, " What news?" Anu asked gesturing Yuvi not to mention anything right now. "The finals... they have announced the dates for finals." Sana pointed in the direction of the notice board making Yuvi and Anu groan out loud.

"My college life has been nothing but studying, assignments, and exams- we didn't get any celebrations nor we go out together, it was a total disaster- I had so many dreams, I was so excited about my college life that I will live it fullest just like Drama's and movies and here I am, preparing for Finals now. It's like we stopped living for the whole college life- no festivals, no celebration, no outings, no vacations- Being in a top institute like this sucks man!"Anu banged her hand on the table making three of them jump. 

"You promised me we will go out at least, but we haven't even stepped out in all these years!!"Anu continued, "Fine! Fine! I got it we will go okay- once you guys are done we will go where ever you want to. Fine?" Sana said not being able to take her whining anymore to which boys nodded.  "You guys promised okay? Don't you dare make excuses when it's time. I don't know we get out and go to someplace nice. The moment this is over."Anu chirped happily to which they nodded.

Anu and Sana walked back to the hostel just to spot someone at the entrance talking to the warden. 

"That suit looks fucking expensive! who is he even?" Anu raised her brows curious willing to see the face of the person, "Who cares! Let's go." Sana said not interested as she pulled Anu with her. 

"Oh! There you are-"The voice called making Sana stop in her tracks, "Anu! Go to the room right now! Don't look at him just go, okay? I will be back in a moment."Sana said quickly pushing Anu ahead, to which Anu obliged swallowing the questions she had, seeing the way Sana's face changed color.

"Your friend?" Sidharth smirked as he walked up to Sana trying to catch glimpses of Anu, "Why are you here?" Sana said as she blocked his view. "Aren't you glad? I came directly from the airport to see you- I missed you that much." Sidharth pouted as he tried to touch Sana just to be pushed away. "Cut the crap- I am not in the mood  to hear your bullshit, get to the point." Sana shot. 

"What a shame- you really don't value the efforts I have been putting for you- do you? I am being so sweet and nice to you- aren't you least bit attracted to me? I know I look good." Sidharth smirked as he bent down to come to eye level with Sana, to which Sana huffed turning to head back to her room, just to be stopped by Sidharth who had a firm grip on her hand.

"What the hell?" Sana frowned pulling herself out of his grip making him give her an annoyed look, "Why are you playing hard to get huh? I am telling you I like you- why cannot you just stop pretending to be all tough now." Sidharth raised his brows,  "What? Yah! Are you living in some delusion or what? stop this whatever scheme you are planning, we both know this shit isn't going to work." Sana said disgustedly. 

"Why do you think am lying- I couldn't stop thinking about you once I left- how else do you explain this?" Sidharth said as he raised his brows, "It's crystal clear to me, cause you see me as someone who is between you and your dream. But let me tell you- whatever you do- you are not going to get Rajwanshi empire under you. Ever." Sana fumed. 

"I don't think you know me that well Sana- I get what I want no matter at what cost, I don't take No as the answer. I might have lost my interest in you soon enough but now you have just involved my ego between us.  You and the Rajwanshi Empire- I will have it all." Sidharth smirked. "Ah! and I have prepared a gift for you - you will find about it soon at Breaking News- I hope you like it!"Sidharth said as he walked back, winking at Sana.
