5. Fall for him

/ignored my mistake/

"I feel bad for him... Don't you think his stepmother is... extremely cruel." Kaothang said hesitated, "But I feel like this name, New is somehow familiar, don't you think? Come to think of it, how can a diary of a stranger be found in your house library? He might be your relative."

*Sigh* "You also know brother Kaothang, how my Dada is? Since I know my Dada or my Uncle don't say anything about our relatives..." Bright said with a sad smile as he played with his paper.

"Ah--ah... let's continue reading, come on," Kaothang said.

As they are about to start reading, a voice interrupting them,

"Kaothang? Bright?"

They looked up at the same time and saw a man with tan skin, a handsome, well build body.

"Brother Earth...?" They both said at the same time.

"Yes, it's me..." The man said with a big smile as he sit in front of them.

Earth is some kind of their friend, he is the same age as Pete, Bright's father. They met him in the cinema hall when they watch a horror movie. They talked, laughed, scream sometimes whenever the ghost showed up on the screen. After that day, they frequently hang out and become close friends. But they lost contact when Earth start working in the countryside.

"How are you, guys?" Earth said with a smile.

"We are good. What about you brother Earth? It's been a long." Kaothang said with a big smile. He has been crushed on Earth from the day they met, he tried to act obvious but Earth never noticed it.

After some talk, Earth left them and they start reading the diary,

'Dear diary,

It's been three months since Tay and I becomes friends. He started opening up to me and we became extremely close. He is cool because of his mother as she always scolds him to do that, not to do this, etc... And I told him not too angry at her because every mother wants their son to be the best so she scold him. He listened to me and now his mother and his relationship become stable as they start trying to understand each other. I had been always there for him when he was sad and when I was sad...

{New's days}

New was crying in his room after coming back from school when he heard Tay's voice,

"Uncle is Plu home? I brought him some candies."

"Oh Tay, you come... Come in. But Plu was gone for playing." He heard his father's soft voice.

"What about New, Uncle? Is the Home?"

"He is in his room, he hasn't been out of his room since he back. And he didn't say anything till now. You go and try to talk to him ..." New was shocked when he heard about his father, he was excepting his father wouldn't tell him about him, Tay.

"Then I'll try to talk to him." Hearing that New quickly sit up and walked toward the tv and turn it on.

*Knock*knock* "New can I come inside?" He heard Tay's worried voice.

"Yes... Of cause Te." He answered in a breaking tone.

And he saw Tay coming inside his room and sitting beside him. New already cover his face with his arm so he didn't able to see the tear on New's face. But when he felt an arm around his waist, he subconscious left a sob.

"Hey, are you crying?" Turn to the other, he lift New head and uncover the arm which block the view, "What happened? You know you can tell me."

"I just watch a movie and get emotional so I cry, nothing else... It's good that you come, let's go to the library and study, I've to do some assignments... Nicky and Neem would probably be there."

"Okay, let's go."

With that, they had come to the library but luck was not on his side. When they reach the library they have been welcomed by the arguing of their friend Neem, Nicky, Lee and Mook. They have become friends since Tay and New became friends,

"Hey, guys... What are you arguing about?" New asked smiling, sitting on the empty seat on the other side with Tay who is resting his head on his shoulder.

"Oh New, you come... Hey, are you okay? They said you go home crying, did Foei do something again?" Neem asked.

"Did you not cry because of tv?" Tay sit up and turn to New, asking. As he didn't get the answer he turn to Neem and Nicky, "Neem, Nicky who is Foei?"

"He is the bully of our school, he always tries to bully New..." Nicky said but was interrupted.

"Did someone call me?" A voice was heard but New and Neem had started shaking. Tay looked at New confusingly as he fell New grabbed his hand.

"Who the hell are you? And who called you?" Mook whisperingly yells at the person with annoyance.

"Hii beauty!! I'm Free... Oh hii New baby, did you surprise my present earlier?" The person Foei smirks seeing New tumbling.

Without any warning, Tay pinch Foei grabs his hand and dragged him outside. Lee also helps pay, Nicky who waits for a chance finally has it, so they beat Foei up. After beating Foei enough, they let go of him and demand him to say sorry to New.

{Back to diary}

Today Foei said sorry and he also said he'll never bother me... But something is interesting happening around us which I notice a long time. I think Mook is like Tay and Lee is like Mook... But Tay helps me and does everything which makes me happy, don't know it's appreciatable but I think I'm in love with Tay. And now the library becomes my favourite place as it's where me and Tay most of the time.

(Present)

"New fall for Tay?" Bright and Kaothang looks at each other.

"And I bet Tay also fall for New by now." Kaothang said with confidence, "it's pity that we have only New POV."

"I agree... It's already late brother Kaothang, let's get going."

"Um okay..."
