When Bright opened his eyes, Pluem and Kaothang were there sitting beside him but his eyes were looking for his Dada who is nowhere to be found. With a disappointed look, he tried to get up only then did he know someone is patting his head and he was sleeping on someone's lap.
With a smile, Bright hugs his father's waist and nuzzles his face on the stomach of New which makes the older chuckle and nuzzles back in the younger hair. The father- son bond will melt our heart.
"I was worried you know..." New said as he hug his son tightly after they sat up.
"Sorry, Dada I'll never do it again," Bright said in a small still in his Dada's neck.
"Now I've got the tickets for tomorrow morning and inform the kid's college for them being absent for a weak... Oh Bright, are you alright now?" Foei said with a smile and sit beside New, resting his head on New shoulder.
If you look at the two of them, you will think they are a couple but they are not, you can say they are good of a good friend. Since from London, they help each other as they are both single fathers. But if you look at Foei you can see a heart's eyes whenever he is near New but the latter seems to unnoticed it. New also looks happy, and comfortable whenever Foei is around and acts like a couple. Bright and Kaothang wonder why don't they just date or marry each other.
"I'm alright now Uncle Foei but what ticket are you talking about?" Bright asked and Kaothang nods to agree but Pluem seems to know and looks sad.
"We are going to London for..." Foei said with so much excitement but Kaothang interrupts him.
"Why?"
"I'm tired and You see, your uncle Pluem is so much stressed from his full pack surgeries, New is also tired running both hospitals and cafe branches and also..." Poor Foei was again get interrupted by Bright.
"But I want to go somewhere else too. Why London?" Bright whining.
New rolls his eyes and replies sarcasm, "Dear son if you let him finish then maybe you should know..."
Bright giggles at annoyed New, "Sorry Dada."
"So, we think Bright it's time for you to go..." Seeing the confused looks of the two younger Foei adds, "so we think Bright, we should go for a vacation."
"Okay actually I'm excited to go and meet my friends but I want to go to Switzerland." Bright pouted.
"Don't worry baby, I'll get your ticket to Switzerland..." Pluem who kept quite the time started speaking but Bright who got excited after hearing about getting tickets for Switzerland interrupted,
"Really? Uncle? You sure?"
"...I'm sure, I'll get it for you for your honeymoon." Pluem finished which makes everyone laugh happily forgetting their problems.
After long sulking for not waking him up and bringing him with Kaothang, Bright start unpacking his birthday gifts but what catches his attention was the old package which stands out from the other packages. It's human nature to get curious and Bright is one of them, so he reached out the package and place it on his lap and saw a note on it saying,
'My dearest son Bright,
Happy birthday, baby, looks like you are now a big baby. You don't know how much I want to see you, reading my note, looking confused. Ah, it's a pity that I can't see you but one thing you need to know is I love you, love you a lot.
Your daddy, be always happy Okay♡˖꒰ᵕ༚ᵕ⑅꒱
Bright looks around in confusion after reading the note however he opens the package and saw a familiar old daily. He took it out and saw the letter that was written on the cover in a child's handwriting as
'Dad's daily'
'I already unpacked the gift of Dada but who is this Daddy, I'd doesn't look like Dada's handwriting too.' Bright thought. And out of curiosity, he open the daily but before he could look a loud, cheerful voice from downstairs echoed in the house where he and his family live, it's the house that they used to live in while they were living in London,
"BRIGHT!!! WHERE ARE YOU?! BABY!!"
Hearing the voice Bright face broke out into a smile and run downstairs after placing the old daily under his pillow while shouting,
"I'm here Dew!! I'm coming!!"
Dew is his and Kaothang's childhood friend. He lives in London because his parents work, they are doctors and work in there as they are more comfortable here.
"Brighttttttt!!!" "Dewwww!!!" They run to each other arms and hugged tightly.
"Why don't you tell me that you are coming, huh? Huh? Huh..." Dew said breaking out the hug and trying to kiss the latter.
Avoiding the kiss, Bright responded, "I just arrived yesterday night and woke up not so long..." Gave up Dew's kiss on the cheek instead.
"Here's the present for your birthday and Mom and Dad are asking you for dinner tonight, let's go together later okay?" Dew said giving a well-packed box.
Bright open the box with a smile which he fails to stop and sees a blue bracelet, he becomes extremely happy as it is the bracelet that he likes the most. Dew is the only one who knows him the most apart from his family. He tried to wear it with one hand but fail so Dew reached out his hand to help him, that's when he saw the same bracelet in red colour wearing in Dew's left hand. And Bright knows Dew brought a couple of things again.
It's quite normal for Dew to buy a couple of things for a Bright, kiss on the cheek, tried to kiss on the lips, sudden hug, be possessive, saying sweet things that's why Bright was not surprised to see the couple's bracelet.
"Bright..." Dew called out to him in a sweet small soft tone which makes the latter look up from admiring the bracelet, "Happy Birthday..." Dew continue before Bright could speak which make the younger smile in return.
Inside Bright was confused by his tone of Dew and the unblinking stare but he responded, "Thanks Dew for the gift... So any girlfriend? B ..."
"I don't have any but..." Dew spoke, eyes never left Bright.
"But?"
"I don't mind having you as my boyfriend."
Bright was speechless.
